Felix woke up the next morning and got ready for school, he put the concealer he got yesterday on his face and wore a hoodie to cover the bruises on his arms

He hated lying and hiding things from Jisung but he didn't know what else to do about it

He ate a quick breakfast then started walking to school

When he got there he hugged Jisung like he usually does when he gets to school in the morning. Jisung hugged him back tightly which hurt but Felix tried his best to ignore it

Jisung then pulled away from the hug and looked at Felix then pouted

"Where are your freckles? Why are you wearing concealer?" Jisung asked as he tried to rub some of it off with his finger but Felix moved his hand away 

"I just felt like wearing some makeup" Felix explained with a small smile to make it more believable

"Okay but know that I love your freckles and that I love and miss them" Jisung said as he kissed Felix's cheek

Chan and Changbin both exchanged looks with each other. They have both known Felix long enough to be able to tell that something was definitely wrong with him

Jisung, on the other hand, trusted Felix way more then he should. But it wasn't either of their faults, Jisung didn't see how anything bad could be happening. Despite his bad feeling he would never think something as bad as Felix's mom contacting him again could ever be a possibility. Felix loved his mom and was so used to growing up with her treating him like she does since he was in middle school that he was used to it, it didn't change how he felt about her. He was used to having toxicity in his life, he didn't see anything wrong with it despite feeling guilty because he knew Jisung would be mad

~~~Time skip to Felix's lunch~~~

"Okay what's wrong?" Chan asked as soon as Felix sat down next to both of them at lunch

"What do you mean?" Felix asked innocently

"You're horrible at lying, we've known you for too long something is obviously wrong" Changbin said and Felix shook his head

"Nothing is wrong, everything is perfectly fine" Felix tried to reassure with a small smile that caused Changbin and Chan to frown

"So much for not breaking yours and Jisung's promise" Chan said with a sigh as he noticed Felix's frown that he quickly made go away as he looked back up at them

"Why do you think I broke the promise? What do you even think I'm lying about?"

"We've been friends with you for a while and we aren't stuipid" Changbin replied

"Are you calling Jisung stupid?" Felix asked

"No, he just trusts you too much and you shouldn't keep whatever you are keeping from him because he doesn't deserve it, Felix, he really  cares about you and we just don't want you to lose that for whatever stupid thing you aren't wanting to tell him" Chan said

"I'm not keeping anything from him. Can we please change the subject?" Felix asked, getting annoyed by his friends

"Fine but please talk to us whenever you are finally ready to stop lying to yourself" Changbin said

"I'm gonna go for a walk" Felix said as he stood up and grabbed his backpack

"Wait, we're sorry we are just concerned" Changbin quickly added

"I know, im not mad I just want to walk around" Felix explained as he left

As Felix was randomly walking around the campus he pulled out his phone and saw some text messages from his mom and some from Jisung

The text's from Jisung were just rants about how boring classes are and how he wishes he could be hanging out with Felix

The texts from his mother were her explaining that she was sorry for hitting him but he deserved it and that she forgives him and hopes he gets on the right track soon. Then another text saying that she hopes Felix comes to see her again soon

And of course, Felix replies with a "It's okay and I will definitely visit you again" because that's how quickly he would usually forgive her. None of it was anything new for him other than the fact that his mom was now apologizing over text instead of in real life

He then replied to Jisung saying that he wishes they could be hanging out right now too then he put his phone back in his pocket and walked around for the last few minutes he had before the bell rang

~~~time skip to after school~~~

"Hi Sungie" Felix said as he hugged his boyfreind

"I missed you" Jisung said as he kissed his forehead

"Missed you too" Felix replied as they started walking to Jisung's house together

Felix started to think about what Chan and Changbin said as they were walking 'This wouldn't cause is to break up again....right?' he wondered to himself

"Lix!" Jisung said as Felix looked over at him

"Hmm?"

"I've called your name like 5 times, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay I was just thinking" Felix explained

"Thinking about what?"

"Umm...nothing important"

"Okay, just wondering cause you haven't talked much" Jisung said as he opened his front door and they walked up to his room  "Hey school is over, you should take your makeup off now. You look amazing no matter what but i miss your freckles" Jisung said as he picked up a package of makeup wipes and handed it to Felix

"Not yet" Felix replied simply not really knowing what else to say 

"Fine...are you wearing chapstick by any chance?" Jisung asked

"Yeah?" Felix said in a confused tone

Jisung walked over to his nightstand and threw his chapstick under the bed then sat next to Felix "My lips are chapped" Jisung said and Felix laughed lightly

"You're so dumb" Felix said as he kissed Jisung

"Thanks" Jisung responded as he leaned in for another kiss " I love you"

"I love you too" Felix smiled 'I just hope nothing bad happens'
