(Y/n)'s POV:
I woke up to the sound of banging in my front door. I jumped suddenly, fearing the worst, but relaxed instantly once I figured that if it was my stalker it would have already bargained in instead of knocking on the door. I looked next to the alarm on my nightstand, yawning when I saw it was only 9 am. I sat up and rubbed my head, messing my hair more than what it probably already was.
'Weird' I thought, completely forgetting there was someone at my door 'I haven't been woken up by him' I thought again, referring to my stalker. I looked around me, inspecting my bedroom 'And there isn't any sign of him either...' I thought again, thinking how that was even weirder.
I jumped at the sound of knocking again, remembering the visitor. I stood up quickly and put on my jonin trousers and shirt, trying to make my hair look somewhat decent.
"Coming!" I yelled from my bedroom as I did that.
I finally walked down the stairs and opened the door, a faint wave of fear rushing me as I started thinking what if it was actually the stalker. However, as I saw who it was I instantly relaxed.
"Yo" a smiling Kakashi greeted me "This was at your door" he said handing me a folded note.
Soon, panic flooded me again.
"Have you read it?" I asked him hurriedly.
His smile fell a little as he opened his eyes, although I could still tell that his lips were slightly tugged upwards, and if they weren't he at least gave that calming aura as if he was.
"No" he answered, again making me breathe in relief "Did you want me to?" he said, seeming to hold back the note for a while, making me think he was going to do so.
He was obviously teasing me, but I couldn't see that at the moment. I was just too scared that he would actually read it.
"No" I said even more desperate. Snatching the note out of his hands before he got to get a peek at the contents of the note, and turning around to keep this one with the rest.
He looked at me with his somewhat visible brow arched, probably wondering why was I acting weird. But I paid him no attention and strode to the kitchen, keeping the note in the drawer where I had been keeping everything related to the stalker. Meanwhile, Kakashi invited himself inside and followed me into the kitchen, leaning against the counter far enough that he couldn't really tell what was on the drawer.
"I came here because Tsunade wanted to see you" his voice sounded behind me.
"Okay, let me get changed"
"I know you rather short missions" Tsunade said after she gave me a brief gist of the mission she was giving me. Or well, Kakashi and I "But I really can't think of anyone better for the job" she finally said, extending the folder with all the details.
"It's fine, I'll fulfill the duty perfectly" I answered bowing slightly before disappearing.
"I need to meet with Kakashi at the doors by 11... Time enough to pack what I'll need" I told myself as I walked back home, reading the contents of the folder.
Kakashi and I had been walking through the forest for almost 45 minutes, which meant we still had a whole bunch of hours to go. I didn't mind though. He was reading Icha Icha Violence and I was just enjoying the silence of nature. It was starting to be slightly cold and some thick and astonishingly big clouds drifted through the sky, leaving some interesting shadow patterns on us as we unhurriedly made our way to the target village.
