3rd person's POV:
(Y/n) woke up to a slight and soothing sound of rain hitting the room. The sound of raindrops hitting the wooden floor from the porch outside along with the grass and nature from the garden. She smiled half asleep, hugging whatever she was laying on closer to her. Burying herself more in Kakashi's chest as she smiled from how calming it was to wake up to that sound, wrapped in the warmth of Kakashi's arms that were hugging her close as well so she wouldn't go anywhere that wasn't with him.
"I'm sorry, I clung to you again" she apologized as she realized he was rubbing her back over the covers, meaning he was already awake for who knows how much.
Although she apologized she didn't bother to move anymore, especially not after what Kakashi had said the last day about them being like that not being a problem. Actually making Kakashi smile slightly while he had his eyes on the ceiling, kind of happy that she hadn't actually moved away from him.
"It's fine" Kakashi answered, still rubbing his hand on her back. Which relaxed him as much as it relaxed her.
"Is it raining?" (Y/n) asked with a sleepy voice after a while, not sure if it was actually raining or she was dreaming it. At her question Kakashi nodded slightly which caused his masked face to rub against the top of her head.
"It's been for a while. We can stay longer in bed" he answered simply.
At his answer, almost as a reflex, (Y/n) repositioned herself on Kakashi's side, still burying herself on him but being able to hug him more comfortably. She was lucky to be half asleep though because if she had been fully awake she wouldn't have been so shamelessly clutching to his body.
"It's cold" she whispered as she fell asleep again.
However, at her quiet words he moved his gaze to her and rushed to take the covers in order to worriedly tuck her in against him better; lovingly hugging her again so she wouldn't feel the tiniest bit of cold. Almost instantly, as she felt the warm arms of Kakashi envelop her against his chest she smiled on her sleep, placing her small hand on Kakashi's abdomen, and snoring lightly like a child.
He looked at her amazed, tucking some strands of her (h/c) hair behind her ear to later pet her head. Finally laying a kiss on her forehead which made her unconsciously rub her cheek against him, only making him blush while his chest fluttered lightly. He knew that that kiss on the top of her head wasn't necessary. Sure it was true that if someone got in and saw them in each other's arms it would make their cover believable, but it was already like that with them being on the same bed thus the kiss being totally unnecessary. Besides, she was also asleep so it only added to its uselessness. Just as giving her those flowers yesterday was unnecessary. But that bouquet, just like this kiss, wasn't part of the act anymore. He knew it was unneeded, but he also knew he loved to see her peacefully sleeping form too much to hold himself back. He knew, and had finally accepted how much he loved her to be around him, how much he adored (Y/n)'s touch and his own touch on her. In fact, these... these feelings and thoughts, they had never occurred to him. The fact of wanting –scratch that–, needing to be with someone this much. It just wasn't avoidable anymore, which in a way kind of scared him having to face these feelings.
With (Y/n)'s steady breathing Kakashi found himself falling quickly asleep as well as he inhaled her bewitching natural scent. She was so amazing, these feelings were although scary, so great and new to him that he wanted to cry. Although not from sadness, obviously. If something from happiness for having met someone as pure and incredible as her. Even if he normally thought of himself like something far from incredible, or even if he never got to let her know how he felt (which he counted on), he still couldn't help but feel happy from having been able to love and have her this close. He felt happy from feeling and having been lucky at least once in his life.
