🍋 Chapter 40

I let go of a loud and annoyed groan as I covered my ears with strength, burying my head in my pillow as deep as I could. Kakashi shuffled lightly at my side due to my scoffing. 'How the hell is he not awake!?' I thought to myself, a growing urge to kill whoever was doing so much noise at 7 am starting to build up inside me.

A few days ago some rogue ninja were taken back to Konoha. They were going to question them, most likely by torture, but somehow they managed to escape. Although not too far, they didn't reach the gates. I guess they knew they were going to die so they preferred destroying what they could and getting killed before saying anything, and also they could take some of us with them along the way. They went on a rampage and destroyed a small part of the village in the process. Which leads us to this exact moment when people were trying to rebuild what was destroyed.

Look, I got it. There were homes and shops to be rebuilt. But it was freaking 7 am and I was tired as hell. All I asked was for them to wait a little more or something. I don't know, I just wanted to sleep, or at least not wake up with the loud sounds of hammering and drilling. I hated to wake up to annoying sounds, it just put me in a bad mood instantly.

Who knows, maybe I would have still woken up at this time without the noise, but the fact that I did it because of the yelling and drilling from the constructions just made me mad as hell.

"What's wrong" Kakashi said half asleep at the sound of my constant mad groans, while he rubbed his eyes lazily with his hand.

"Why the fuck are they so looouuud" I whined with a frown, hitting my forehead with the pillow.

"They're working" he said after sighing "C'mon, let's get back to sleep" he added, turning to my side. He put both hands at my sides and pulled me into him while he nuzzled his head in my neck, trying to cuddle me so I'd fall asleep again.

I pouted but remained silent. I was sincerely going to try, but it was just literally impossible with so much noise. And even less when the loud drilling began again, it even looked as if they were going to go through the walls of our home. 'How much does it fucking take to drill a fucking wall man?' I thought, and immediately scorned again.

"I know they're working, but they are fucking annoying. What are they doing? Working with a fucking bullhorn or what the fuck" I spat, tossing and turning "Why they don't shove their drill up their ass and shut up for a while"

Did I already mention that I woke up in an awful mood if I was awakened by loud sounds? Like so much it really wasn't me who was talking, just a tired and bothered (Y/n). Kakashi sighed again and separated from me a bit, laying on his back again while he rubbed his eyes with his hands.

"You're saying this because you're still half asleep, once you are awake you will think differently" he said sighing. But his comment made me scoff "I don't know, (Y/n), what do you want me to do?" he asked me so I would just forget and go back to sleep with him again. But I pouted and kept frowning with every hammering there was.

We spent a couple of minutes like that, me huffing and insulting the poor people that were doing their jobs while Kakashi looked at me, still with sleepy eyes.

"Do you want to annoy them too?" Kakashi's words made me forget the sounds for a moment.

Firstly because I didn't get where the question was coming from, and secondly because of his change of tone. He didn't sound as sleepy, in fact it sounded similar to that thing he did with his voice whenever he whispered in my ear. I nodded at his question.

"But how?" I asked, listening curiously, he just gave me one of his smug smirks and slowly hovered over me.

He looked at my eyes with that same smile while his hand caressed my hip. He then grabbed my leg and pulled it closer over his hip so he could lay better in between my legs. Then, he slowly leaned down to kiss me unhurriedly, his other hand taking his own time to keep caressing my bare hip, thigh and waist.
