(Y/n) wasn't supposed to wake up for at least half a day. Her stalker had taken well care of it, and he had it all planned to happen that way. Although not everything went his way because he got some beating too. However, knowing that she'd remain passed out on the floor of her apartment he didn't care much. He thought he'd have enough time to heal himself and then go back and take her, maybe he could even tell someone to help him or take care of her for him. But again, (Y/n) frustrated his plans not even knowingly. She wasn't supposed to wake up, but she did.
The overwhelming fear she had before passing out. The fear of being completely at the mercy of her stalker, terrified her to no extent. That, added to the determination she held onto before falling unconscious was what made her slightly come back of her unconsciousness.
She blinked a couple of times, now the darkness of the night surrounding her. She wasn't being able to distinguish anything aside from blurred shapes and dark colors. But she didn't care how groggy she was, she needed to get out of there.
Almost fighting her own subconscious she dragged herself out of there, even if she stumbled with herself or any other obstacle that got in her way. She didn't even know where was she going, she had enough trying hard not to lose control of her own feet while she tried to get as far as possible from there, of her stalker as she imagined he'd come back for her. She stumbled from one side of the road to another, feeling like she'd finally collapse anytime. With every step she took, more energy left her body, as well as the control she had over it. Until she finally couldn't move anymore. One moment she was standing, and the other she was falling to the floor in the middle of the dark street, only illuminated by the full white moon on top of the sky.
Kakashi's POV:
I hated that I had arrived home late. Lately, I didn't have much time to myself as I was trying to get some clues from who this person threatening (Y/n), and that could also potentially be a threat to the village was. But it was for both Konoha and (Y/n)'s well-being so it was worth it.
I got home thinking that she would already be there because of the time. But she wasn't.
"Being alone in a closed space makes me anxious" I remembered her scared words when she explained to me why was she waiting for me on my rooftop, outside.
'Maybe she's with Genma again' I thought with a frown, although I relaxed thinking that at least she'd be safe.
So, imagining that she'd come home any time soon I sat on the sofa, reading the book she gave to me. But an hour passed, and another, and another one, and more followed. Each one making me more anxious than before until I decided I would go and look for her. Maybe she really was with Genma or someone else, and I'd interrupt or bother her, but what if she wasn't? I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something had happened to her.
I decided to leave home and I started looking for her where I thought she could be. Ichiraku, her favorite bar, our spot, etc. but she was nowhere to be found, nor was even seen by other people. This only added to my anxiety, making me breathe heavier as I started looking for her more rushedly.
I called for Pakkun and the rest and sent them to find her which they quickly did. I jumped from house to house until I saw her stumbling onto some trash bins, spilling them on the road. She stopped and hold her chest, it was then when I noticed her cuts ripping some parts of the clothes I had lent her. I gazed at her some more and realized they also seemed to be slightly drenched in blood from the same cuts. My chest closed and felt heavier at her state. I quickly jumped in front of her, just in time before she collapsed, making her fall on my chest and shoulder.
