Kakashi x Reader [English]

Chapter 23

I woke up to an amazing smell. A smell that made me just want to squeeze whatever that was on my face and giving off this scent. To pull Kakashi's sleepy face more into my chest and bury my nose in his hair as he was already hugging me while sleeping soundly in between my chest and neck.

I licked my lips a bit as I started to wake up. I blinked once or twice moving a bit which also meant moving the hands I had on him, running one of them through his hair gently while rubbing my eyes with the other one.

I turned my body to lay on my back, now having Kakashi's sleeping figure resting on the crook of my neck while his warm breath hit it slightly. I stayed like that, feeling the pleasant weight of his arm around my stomach, and the warmth of his body next to mine while we were still on the side of my bed just where I had laid yesterday.

I sighed heavily, which made me thought that I would even wake him up for a moment. I carefully took his arm off me as I sat on the bed, staying sat there for another couple of seconds. Just when I was getting up I heard the sheets rustling a bit.

"Where are you going?" a sleepy and raspy Kakashi asked.

I turned around, seeing him half laying half sitting, with a hand rubbing his eye that would later end up holding his dangling hair up. Which let me see his adorable sleepy face better.

"I have training with Kiba and Shino" I said.

"It's 8 am" he said after looking at the alarm clock on his bedside table.

"I know, I still have training" I chuckled a bit while I grabbed some clothes from the wardrobe.

"But, it's 8 am?" he repeated.

"Some people do get on time, you know?" I said with half a smile before getting inside the bathroom to change.

"Wait, don't I even get a goodbye kiss?" he said once I left the bathroom before I left the bedroom as well.

I looked at him, arching a brow.

"I would, but you would pull me with you and wouldn't let me go"

"What?" he sounded exaggeratedly hurt because of my words "I would never do that" he said, stressing the never.

"You wouldn't uh?" I asked him, standing in the middle of the door. He shook his head in denial vigorously, making me chuckle a bit "Goodbye, Kakashi. I-" I stopped myself before I could say those three words. I swallowed and stuttered a bit "will see you later" I added before finally leaving.

Kakashi's POV:

I heard the door closing almost immediately after she said goodbye. I sighed, running my hand through my hair. 'She was going to say it' I thought to myself as I let my body fall to the bed again, hoping that my chest wouldn't be as weirdly heavy as it had become in less than second. 'I don't blame her for not wanting to say it' I thought to myself, groaning a bit because of being awake. I turned to one side closing my eyes, maybe then I could fall asleep. 'But it would have been nice to hear it from her...' I thought to myself, having her smile stuck on my mind, which made my heart beat a bit faster and thus not be able to sleep.
