"Well" (Y/n) started to answer Genma's words "to the first thing you said, unluckily it doesn't depend on me" but before she could continue she spotted Kakashi. She stopped talking and waved at him, making Genma look at the silver-haired ninja too.

"Oh, hey Kakashi" he greeted him too. Kakashi waved at him shortly and as uninterested as always.

"I don't know if I'll be free tomorrow" (Y/n) finally said, resuming her conversation with Genma as she stood up to join Kakashi "But when I am I'll look for you" she smiled at him

"Alright, I'll be waiting then. See you around" he said goodbye, standing as well "Kakashi" he bid farewell to him as well before leaving.

"Why weren't you inside?" Kakashi asked once Genma was gone as he opened the door of his apartment. He asked a bit annoyed because he thought she would have been safer inside than outside.

She explained to him why, and Kakashi didn't mention anything about Genma at all. Not because he was annoyed, he had no reasons. Not even to feel jealous, although he couldn't help but feel weird. But he didn't say anything mostly because he didn't want to make her uncomfortable, even though he was curious as to why he had been lately finding her with him. Which made his insecurities grow a bit as he doubted slightly if she really liked him like he thought.

"I bought food so I could cook dinner as a thank-you for helping me" she said leaving the bags in the kitchen.

"It wasn't necessary" he said looking through the bags.

But (Y/n), being as persistent as she was ended up making Kakashi accept. So he sat on the sofa while he finished one of his books, and she started cooking.

"Do you think you can get me some water from the fridge" Kakash asked once he sat on the table as (Y/n) was watching him attentively.

She squinted her eyes at him, making him gulp a bit for being under such an intense stare.

"You're trying to trick me, aren't you? You will eat while I turn around" she said in distrust.

Kakashi chuckled lightly.

"(Y/n)" he called her with amazement "You do know me after all" he chuckled, making her sigh.

She knew that if he didn't want her to see he'd find a way to eat without her seeing him. So she gave up rather quickly, and just as expected, when she came back to the table, his food had already been finished.

After finishing dinner Kakashi wanted to clean the dishes, but again (Y/n) insisted, saying that last night he had taken care of her and this was the least she could do.

"Do you think it's alright if I shower?" he asked her, not wanting to leave her alone if it would put her in distress.

She hadn't thought about being alone so she hesitated for a moment, feeling a slight wave of panic. 'He will still be here... Just in a different room' she tried to calm herself not wanting to sound too dramatic.

"It's fine, don't worry" she tried to sound completely sure.

"Are you sure (Y/n)? I really don't mind, I can shower tomorrow while you're out" he said arching a brow, really worried that she would have a panic attack like the one he saw yesterday. Not wanting to see her hurting like that ever again.

(Y/n) nodded at his question, now looking more confident.

"Okay" he ended up saying "But, if anything happens, the slightest thing. Just yell and I'll be here in less than sec" he said looking at her sternly so she'd know how serious his words were.
