"oh, are you sure this is for me?" you asked the young boy, who only nodded vigorously and pushed the envelope your way. you took it, watching the boy tip his hat and rush away, giving you a "have a good day, miss" as he left.
you hummed, tearing open the envelope carefully. you pulled a piece of paper out, unfolding it to read it's contents. "my dearest.." you began, eyes trailing down sentence after sentence. he was being quite formal in this letter, and you instantly knew he would have something big planned.
"i can't wait to mark the beginning of a new chapter with you tonight, if you'll have me."
oh yeah, something really big was planned out, and you felt yourself smiling to no end at the words. "oh booker..."
