monday, the first day you'd see him after he asked you out on friday. he was busy with practice games over the weekend, and you were busy with your families business and taking care of smaller tasks in it.
you marched through the halls, head held high as you made your way to the gym. his was suppose to be practicing today again, so you decided to surprise him. walking in through the doors, you instantly noticed the libero standing next to a guy that was way taller than him - as well as you.
with a smile, you strode over and jumped into his back, feeling his hands go underneath your thighs to help keep you up almost out of instinct - he must be used to this. "hey, nishi!" you hummed in his ear, and he laughed as he set you down and embraced you.
"the nickname. i like that." nishinoya informed you, only to get a slap on the back. "we call you that sometimes," a voice spoke. "yeah, but it sounds better coming from them!"
