Waiting for You

There's a little boy with cold, dead eyes,
Can't even fucking smile on the inside.
He knows he should feel something,
But all he feels is nothing.
His own friends can't tell what's wrong,
But it's even worse the parents don't know.
/All day long he stays locked in his room,
Figuring out how he can feel even a little good.
He knows he's depressed and fucking hates it,
Thinking how in the hell does he deserves this shit.
The feeling of loneliness creeps inside,
So all the boy's doing now is waiting for you./
Few years later, still has the same feeling,
But he got even better at fake smiling.
He got himself a girl who is the opposite,
For a time he forgot the depression.
Somehow the shit still haunted him,
But he pretended it all was in the past for her.
/Now he hears voices when he's alone,
Telling him he doesn't deserve a soul.
He believes the fucking demon's side,
And attempts a goddamn suicide!
Even though he got a girl that likes him,
He still screams out he's waiting for you!/

It's present day and his grown eyes haven't changed,
He now feels as if he's under piles of chains!
He breaks down and cries whenever he is alone,
Thinking of how his whole life has been thrown!
He has helped so many others from falling off the edge,
But he himself is only holding on by a strand of hope that is slowly slipping away!
/The little boy on the inside tells him softly,
To keep holding on and soon he'd be free.
He believes the little boy with all his heart,
But he doesn't know how he can stop this hurt.
All he thinks about now is how to help someone else,
But deep inside all he's doing is waiting for you to end this hell./
