23|DRESSES

"You're on germ phobia brain?" Winter laughed as she watched her cousin scrub every cupboard in the apartment.

"Yes and this flu season is killing me!" Liv gasped loudly when she realised she had missed a spot. "Anyway, why are you here?"

"Don't tell me you forgot." She groaned, jumping up and sitting on the freshly wiped counter. "We are going bridesmaid dress shopping. We are waiting for Peyton to get dressed and Ravi to show up."

"I completely forgot!" Liv dropped everything she was doing and ran to her room to get dressed. Eventually Ravi knocked on the door and entered the house, keeping Winter company.

"So what colour dresses are you thinking?" He asked her, leaning against the counter next to her.

"Royal colours like blue, red, purple, green." She answered, waving at Peyton and Liv as the pair finally showed up.

"We ready to leave?" Peyton questioned, checking she had her bag and phone.

"Yeah, let's go!" Winter cheered, jumping off the counter and leading everyone to her car.

"I still can't believe he bought you a car." Liv laughed, sitting in the back seats with Peyton while Ravi sat in the passenger seat.

"He said it's so I can travel between our house and here easier." The driver shrugged nonchalantly. "He said he would rather me driving around then walking with all these zombie threats."

"He is so caring!" Ravi squealed like a teenage girl. The women in the car burst into laughter over his reaction.

They finally pulled into the car park and all jumped out the car, wandering towards the small shop.

"Hello, how may I help you today?" The worker welcomed the four as they walked into the store.

"I have a booking under Winter Snow." Winter stepped forwards to talk to the woman.

"Ah yes, please come take a seat!" She led them to the main seating area. "Would you like a drink? Tea? Coffee? Bubbly?"

"I'll have bubbly please." Winter smiled, passing her keys to Ravi.

"Me too."

"Same, please."

"I guess I'll have tea." Ravi chuckled, putting the keys in his pocket.

"I'll go grab them if you want to look around?" The woman smiled politely and excused herself.

"Thank you." They instantly went through each dress, all inputting their opinions before deciding on three that they wanted to try on.

"If the two bridesmaids want to follow me and we can go try the dresses on." The woman dragged Liv and Peyton away while Winter and Ravi gossiped about the wedding.

"So this is the red ones you picked out." Liv and Peyton entered the main area, both smiling at each other and turning around in their dresses.

"You girls look so beautiful right now." Winter put her hand to her mouth to try and stop herself from crying with joy. "But I feel this dress is too conservative on the chest area."

"I was thinking that too." Peyton moved the material around to see if she could make it slightly more revealing but it did not work.

"Next one?" The bridesmaids walked out in a purple dress and Winters face contourted into deep thinking.

"No, I preferred this on the hanger."

"Same." Finally they walked out in a blue dress and a large grin took over Winters face as she saw the dresses.

"I love it!" She gasped, standing up to get a close up look. "These are the ones!"

"I love it too." The three women hugged with happiness, surprised they found one so quickly.

Winter Snow stood in the interrogation room, leaning against the wall behind Clive and Liv. They were currently questioning a man who was very ill with the flu.

"I'm a boob man, what can I say?" Ron sniffed, wiping his nose on his sleeve very obviously. "I'd had a few too many, I thought I was talking to a hot chick with a big rack." He shrugged before gesturing to Clive. "You're a guy, you know how it goes."

"Clive?" The two women called out to the spaced out man.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was just, um..." Clive coughed into his tissue as he tried to regain his thoughts and remember what they are talking about. "What were you saying? Someone broke up with you?"

"Uh, no." Liv stared at the detective strangely while Winter stood up straight, putting the pieces together. Him and Dale had broke up. "We were talking about how Ron was hitting on Vince, until your buddies started razzing you about it."

"Were you feeling humiliated?" Winter quizzed, watching his reaction closely.

"It wasn't my best moment." He shrugged, eyes darting between the three.

"You were furious, weren't you?" Liv added. "Which is why you called the victim a piece of-"

Liv was cut off when Ron began to breath in heavily, about to sneeze hard, his hands staying by his side, not protecting Liv from the germs.

She screamed in fright and fell backwards, the chair coming with her as Winter muffled her laughter behind her sleeve before trying to help her cousin off the ground. The blonde haired zombie began to furiously wiped down the table and Clive with a disinfectant wipe.

"I think her point is you had motive to kill Vince." Clive broke the awkward silence, bringing the conversation back to the point.

"I wasn't that motivated." The suspect denied. "Besides, I saw the guy that punched Vince. That's probably your killer."

"Vince was killed by a blow to the head." Clive informed the man.

"Oh. Well, in that case, I saw the murder." Ron nodded. "Yeah, I was headed to my car, and I see the son of a bitch that I just hit on, and then I his or her exact double."

"He must've seen Vince and Sheila." Clive said as Winter crouched down between the pair.

"Are you mansplaining the case to me, Detective?" Liv gasped causing her cousin to burst into laughter. "I'm up to speed."

"Continue." Winter waved her hand at the suspect boredly, standing back up to lean against the wall.

"At first, I thought I was seeing double 'cause, you know, beers." Ron continued his story. "One of them was your dead guy trying to get into his car. And the other was, I guess, a real lady. Real lady was getting picked up by a big dude in a Cutlass. He sees your victim and he yells out, "it's not funny, you bleeping bleep, its demeaning". Dead Guy gets in his car real quick. He did not wanna mess with Big Guy. Then, when Dead Guy is safely in his car, he flipped off Big Dude in the Cutlass. Big Dude gets out of his car, marches over to Dead Guy while he's trying to get the engine turned over and punches him through the window."

"Probably a zombie raging out?" Liv suggested, ignoring Ron as he repeated "through the window" over  and over. "Did you see his eyes?"

"No, I was behind him." Ron answered truthfully.

"Well, it says here that Sheila is married." Clive inputted.

"We should see how big that husband is." Liv groaned loudly when she saw the suggestive look her cousin gave her. "Not like that."
