When people hear stories about royals, prince and princess, kings and queens they hear about happy ending, fairies and, balls. They don't know about the pain, the bloodshed, betrayal...

loss. 

I thought this too when I was younger. I thought everything was so perfect. I thought that I was safe inside the castle... no one would hurt me, I'm a royal... people wouldn't dare hurt someone of royal blood if they valued their life. 

And yet here I am, fighting for my life and the person who is trying to kill me is the same person who called me their nephew. 

I had spent the last nineteen years of my life blind to the true horrors of the castle and the crown. I didn't realize everything until it was too late. 

And for that I am sorry...

I'm sorry Mother, Rose, Alexandria, Jacob and even father. It was because of my stupidity I am in the place I am and you all are in the place you are. I promise I will make the future better, even if it cost me my last breath. 

I will take the crown with bloody hands if I have to. I will fight, I will fight until the bitter end. 

I will fight until they crown me.
