So it's safe to say Jake is a horrible pool player. Him and I lost horribly to Tom and James. Right now I'm in my room trying my best to avoid the person I'm supposed to be a slave to for the next week. "There she is." I looked up and seen James standing in my doorway grinning from ear to ear. Clearly I'm terrible at hiding. To be fair, my bedroom probably wasn't the wisest choice. "You're loving this aren't you? I bet you just can't wait to make me wash your dishes, clean your laundry and what ever other kind of torturous things you can think of....actually, laundry isn't that bad, but I still don't want to wash your underwear." I sighed. "Who said anything about laundry and dishes?" He raised an eyebrow and walked into the room until we were only a foot apart. "I'm merely requesting that you spend atleast an hour with me each day." He negotiated. "Dude, I spend twelve hours with you and the boys every day." I argued. "Yes, but never just with me. I was thinking we could hang out. You know, like normal friends." He suggested. "Fine." I sighed dramatically like there were a million things I would rather do. As far as im concerned, I'm getting off easy. Spending an hour with my best friend every day for a week is definitely something I can deal with. "Ok then, obviously it'll have to happen after rehearsals and stuff so we can start tomorrow. Plus it's kind of late." He said. I nodded my head and sat down on my bed. "See ya tomorrow." He smiled then turned and left. I was about to pull out my book and start reading until someone knocked on my wall. I looked up and seen it was Casey. "Hey," he smiled. "Hi, come in." I smiled back. I feel like I haven't seen him in forever. "What are you doing?" He asked as he walked over and sat down next to me on my bed. "Well I was about to read, but I'd much rather talk to you." I said as I rotated my body so that we were sitting next to each other with our backs against the wall, our shoulders touching. "Good." He interlaced our fingers and lifted my hand to his mouth, placing a soft kiss on the top of it. "I feel like I haven't had any alone time with you since we left Bermuda." He looked over at me. "I know. We've just been so busy it's hard to find time for anything." I said. "Yeah, but I was thinking that we could hang out after the photo shoot tomorrow. If you want?" He asked. "I'd lov-" I had to stop myself from answering because I just remembered that I have to hang out with James tomorrow too. "There's three hours in between the photo shoot and vocal rehearsals tomorrow, can we hang out then?" I hope he says yes. "Yeah that's fine, but why then?" He asked. "Because Jake made that stupid pool bet and I have to hang out with James after rehearsal." I told him. "Well what happens if you don't follow through?" He asked curiously. "I'm not sure, but knowing Tom, its probably something terrible so I don't plan on finding out." I chuckled. "Mmkay. Well I should probably get to bed, we have an early day tomorrow." He let go of my hand and slid off the bed. He was heading towards the door before I jumped up and stopped him. I quietly shut my door and pulled him in for a hug. "What's this for?" He asked as he squeezed me closer to him. "I just...don't want you to go." I whispered into his chest. He held me for a few more seconds before he pulled away and gently pressed his lips to mine. This was like none of the other kisses we've shared. All the others have been rough and fast and full of need, but this one was soft and polite and full of care. It was amazing. When he pulled away he looked down at me and smiled. "I should go," he whispered. I nodded my head and watched as he opened the door and left.
