Cinematic memories

As time drags on and we are desperate for distraction, I find myself caught up in a cinematic experience. My mind spurs in to motion as the pictures start rolling and before I know it a movie is on display.

Scenes of life and love, passion and desire. Displayed on the screen are all of the things I took for granted. A plot line created from all of the emotions embedded in me. Memories of past friendships, past relationships, failed connections and past heartbreak.

Do I stop the movie or let it play?

I can't bring myself to turn away. All sorts of memories start to play seamlessly transitioning into the next thought, memory, and emotion I thought my mind had flushed away.

I saw my first love, and every past mistake. I saw playful memories of the old me, flirtatious and care free, I saw sunrises and sunsets, and felt the warmth of my favourite people next to me.

With all the time in the world to yourself, let your movie play and welcome every emotion elicited with open arms. Let your mind remind you what it's like to live a life where you can wake up everyday and create a new cinematic masterpiece for your mind to play
