Caty Jones's POV:

Ugh. I wasn't really stoked for my first day of college. I knew professors would be a pain in the ass handing out piles of bookwork I'm not even prepared for. No parties for me, I guess. I'm not even the type to go to parties, what am I even saying? Anyway..

"Alexa, play Melanie Martinez on Spotify," I say to my Alexa machine from Amazon. So far, she hasn't been a royal butt to me.

"Playing Melanie Martinez on Spotify," the machine said back. Show & Tell played first thing. It gave me some motivation to get ready this morning. I made my classes begin at Ten in morning and be done by four-thirty so I could work or do some things. I only had one best friend and a roommate. So, I didn't really have a life whatsoever.
I make my bed then walk to my closet. I grab a pair of black ripped jeans, my under garments (underwear and bra) and a grey shirt along with a black sweater with a zipper that goes down the middle. I brush my teeth, then put my hair in a bun so I can wash my face. Once I do that, I dry my face with a special towel. After that I let my hair down brushing it. I put some dry shampoo in my hair to make it look a little less greasy. I put my hair in two French braids then head into my bedroom. I take off my Game of Thrones Pajama pants and my black shirt I was wearing. I take off my underwear throwing it in the hamper across from my bedroom. I put my clothes on that I had set out on my bed.

Once I'm fully clothed. I put my socks on then slip my black on black vans on. I go back into the bathroom to see I look good for today. I'm not the type of girl to wear makeup. I only wear it occasionally. I grab my bag, keys, wallet, and phone. I grab a chocolate pop-tart and walk out the door.
My roommate can complain about me leaving Alexa on later. I get into my car putting my bag in the passenger seat. I start my car leaving my house heading to get coffee at Starbucks then heading straight to college. My first class for the day is an Art class. I'm a really good artist and would love to draw people and what they're doing.
I pull into Starbucks and order my Carmel Frappe. I pay for it then head to college. I realize I'm fifteen minutes early so I just chill in my car for a bit. It still felt like summer but, it's always summer time in the land of Aussies.

Caleb Finn's POV:

"Don't forget to read chapter one and answer the following questions after! We go over Chapter One tomorrow!" I exclaim as my students scurry out of my huge classroom. I sigh walking over to my desk and take a seat in my black leather chair.

"Mr. Finn?" I hear a soft voice. I look up to see one of the newer rarer freshman walking up to my desk.

"Yes, Ms. Jones?" I ask her professionally. I study her look and notice how beautiful she looks. So, I stare at her waiting for a question she has.

"Do we have to read through all of Chapter One?" She asks then sighs, "I already have two more homework assignments I have to do." I study her a little bit, but I know she's being honest. She bites her lip unconsciously making me nervous. I adjust in my seat a bit uncomfortably as I rest my elbows on my desk looking at her.

"Is there a problem with that Ms. Jones? We go over what we read, make sure we all are on the right page. And then take five more pages of notes... If you can't do that you could just drop my class," I can see all of the color leaving her face as if she's seen a ghost. Caty turns her face away from me looking down processing what I had said. She looks around the room before focusing back on me.

She flashes a fake smile at me, "That won't be a problem, Mr. Finn."

I smile back at her, "Good." I turn back to my computer typing in what we had done on the agenda for today.

"Asshole," I hear her mumble against her breath. I sigh continuing on with my work.

Caty Jones' POV:

"I thought I'd come home to see you busy drawing or painting. What the hell is this?!" My roommate Cassandra asks me when she comes into the kitchen to see my Psychology I book opened and paperwork everywhere. I sigh as I take off my glasses that make me the biggest nerd possible.

"Mr. Finn is an asshole. He wants everyone to read Chapter One and then answer the questions after reading it. Chapter One is so long it's making me lose brain cells. I have a portrait to work on and a packet of Organic Chemistry to work on," I tell her. She takes a seat in the chair beside me listening to me go on about other homework I have to do.

"I've heard Mr. Finn is tough. My friend who graduated with a Psychology Major said that Mr. Finn was a pain but, he's one of the best Psychology Teachers here in Melbourne," Cassandra says. I groan in frustration. I mean, I might be a little dramatic but, this screams I'm gonna be losing sleep now.

"I'm almost done. I just have section three and then five more questions to go," I admit to her trying to reassure her that I'll be fine.

"It's almost nine. Look, I'll order pizza and pay. You finish this up and work on your chem packet. You could probably get up early and work on that portrait-"

"That portrait is due on Thursday... I'd rather get it done now so I can worry about Chem and Psychology," I go on. She dials the pizza company and orders two large pepperoni pizza's anyways. I give in so I can hurry and finish all of my homework.

1:32a.m.

"Cass, I'm very disgusted that it's nearly two and I haven't finished my Chem packet!" I exclaim.

"Isn't it due in a week!?" I hear her yell from my bedroom. I hear my door bell ring and I groan in frustration. I stomp to the door and open it to see Mr. Finn standing there. Only he wasn't dressed professional. He's wearing black jean shorts, and a white hoodie.

"Mr. Finn, what're you doing here?" I asked in a panic. I thought professors weren't allowed at their students address without a call first.

"Um... I called. But, your phone went straight to voicemail," He said. I didn't realize I said all of that aloud. I slam the door in his face real quick to see my phone was dead. I slap myself and rush over to the door. And reopen it again.

"Question, why are you here?" I ask with a bit of a snarky attitude.

"I came to return this," He hands me the book Pride and Prejudice with my papers in the book I left off at.

"I didn't even realized I left that in your classroom. She gave those to us today," I grab the book back holding it beside me.

Why am I such a dumbass?

"Goodnight!" I tell him slamming the door in his face. I go back to the kitchen table and put my book on it. Thank god this assignment is due next Monday.
