Caty Jones' POV
"Caty, I'm afraid you can't drop the class. It's too late into the semester. I thought you loved Psychology... Unless you gave me an explanation why. We could work something out," My Aunt Justice told me. Yeah, she works at this college. I looked down debating whether I should. But, decided against it.
I gave her a fake smile and told her, "Forget it. It's not necessary." I left the office and see Mr. Finn printing papers. He looks in my direction stopping what he was doing. Flashbacks fled through my mind as we held eye contact. I looked away first exiting the building. I got back into my car heading back home. I decided to paint to calm my mind.

Caleb Finn's POV
Caty was not present in my class. I hope she's gonna be present to take the exam on Friday. I noticed William concerned she wasn't here. I sigh teaching the class.
-
"Don't forget to study! That exam is going to affect your grade," I lecture my students as they all rush out of classroom. I take a seat in my black leather chair beginning to type up what my agenda was today for my four different Psychology classes. I hear the classroom door open to see the attendant that does our schedule in here.
"Can I help you?" I asked politely. She smiled at me than took a seat across from my desk.
"I'm curious as to why niece would want to drop your class? Caty Jones." Fuck.
"I have no clue why she would want to drop my class, Justice," I act oblivious as possible. I knew Justice wouldn't believe me though.
"Caleb, my niece has been very excited to take Psychology with one of the best teachers... being you, since her senior year of high school. I want to know why, so suddenly and late into the semester that she doesn't want to take this course anymore," I'm not telling her about the contract. I'm not telling her about the contract. I'm not speaking about the contact.
"Her grades are kind of slipping and I've been concerned. That would be all." It wasn't a full lie. She studied my face about whether she should trust my word.
"Hm.. alright. I apologize for bothering you," She exits the room with Ms. Jones' file in her hands. I have to be more cautious now. I don't want anything to be suspicious.
-
"Hello?" I asked not seeing the caller ID.
"Professor Finn. You are not letting this contract effect my mid-term exam. Or I will no longer attend your class," I knew right away it was Caty. I sit up deciding how to reply.
"Fine. We do need to have a chat tomorrow after class," I tell her.
"Alright. Bye Professor," she hung up the phone call. I really can't stop thinking about Caty. Every time I lay in my bed the flashbacks run through my mind.
