Caty Jones' POV:

I wake up to see it's 9:11a.m. I slept in late and class starts at ten o'clock. I groan getting up grabbing a pair of black leggings, a black crop sweater and a white t-shirt. I grab a set of Calvin Klein garments I got online. And a pair of black socks. I rush to my bathroom brush my teeth, wash my face and fix my hair. I decided to throw it in a messy ponytail. I rush to my bedroom. Undress so I was completely naked. I put my sports bra on and underwear. I put my black high-waist leggings on, then my white t-shirt and my black cropped sweater. I looked good stating I was messy. Luckily I put all of my school work in my bag. I grab my keys, wallet, bag, phone and head out the door. I check the time to see it read 9:40a.m.

I get into my car putting my bag in the passenger seat. I head to Starbucks getting a sandwich and a mocha ice coffee and had them make it sweet. And got to campus at 9:52a.m. I eat my food, put hand-sanitizer on grab my drink and bag. I turn off my car heading into the door at 9:58a.m. Thank the lord.

"The mind is very powerful... Oh, look at the time! Turn in your paper and read section 1.3 before we take our test this Friday! Don't forget to get the rest of the notes online for Thursday!" He exclaimed. He walked back over to his desk beginning to type away on his computer. I sigh knowing I have to ask if he can extent the notes since he was rushing through them.

Caleb Finn's POV:

"Mr. Finn?" I hear once again. I swear she's going to have to drop my class if she has to keep asking such questions.

"Yes, Ms. Jones?" I ask again turning to her. She takes a deep breath then begins;

"I didn't get through all the notes for today... Is there um... a chance I could get a copy of them-"

"They're posted online, Ms. Jones-"

"I just checked and they aren't up... only the notes for tomorrow is up, sir," She begins to fidget with her finger nails after she says that. I sigh taking a look myself. I check and shake my head in disbelief.

"What?" I say putting them up now. I turn back to her.

"Well, they're up now. If you have any questions or need help. Let me know tomorrow," I say. She opens her mouth but closes it after a moment. She rolls her eyes walking off. I check her out and I can't help it, so I adjust in my seat uncomfortably. I turn away embarrassed remembering an awkward moment with the last girl I hooked up with two years ago. I clear my throat then see Ms. Jones flipping me off with her finger on her tongue. I cross my arms against my chest as she smiles then leaves.

As soon as I go home I head to the basement. I see the California King Sized Bed, the LED lights still on red. I see a lingerie and have flashbacks of the the last time I've been down in this bedroom. I grab it and go to the back yard lighting it on fire.

"You've been hooking up with him behind my back?" I ask her...

"I thought you'd be at work... screwing another one of your students..." She glared at me still sitting on top of the guy in bed.

"I told you I stopped doing that?!" I yell at her. She holds up a red lingerie ...

"You're gonna regret everything-"

"Let me guess.. Another hook up then dumping me?" I growled and left. I hired people to pack her shit and have it be outside.

She and I got drunk and hooked up. The next morning. She took her car, and all of her stuff including some furniture and left. I wasn't surprised. Then I went into the sex room taking all of the sheets off throwing them away. I couldn't bare the flashbacks anymore.

"Angie..." I sigh as I threw the sheets away. I went to my personal laptop and ordered California King Black Bedsheets. No more red or white.

When I was going to check out I saw Caty Jones and hid immediately. When I peeked out to see her again. She was looking around when she caught my eye.

"Mr. Finn?" She asked staring towards my direction.

"Damnit," I mumble as I turn around with an awkward smile. As I walk behind her as if it was an odd coincidence.

"You can call me Caleb when we're not in school," I reply to her saying my name. She tucked a strand of hair behind her. That made my heart erupt in butterflies.

"Okay, Caleb. What're you doing here?" The way my name rolled off her tongue made my stomach churn. My veins popping due to the blood pumping. I looked down then back at her to see her eyebrow raised with curiosity. I quietly swallow the lump in my throat and proceed.

"I needed some groceries so, I came here. What about you?" I ask pointing at her basket full of colored pencils, permeant markers, pencils, brushes, paint brushes, sketch-books, and canvases.

"Art supplies," she said and did her check out.

"Is this together?" The lady at the cash register had asked.

"Uh-" She stumbles

"Yes, it is," I say interrupting what she was going to say. Caty gave me a certain look and I blow it off. The total comes up very high and I'm shocked because I didn't have a lot.

"I can just pay-" She says but I stop her.

"I got it," I gave the cashier 220$$ because it came up to 218.75$$. The cashier looks impressed and gives me my change back.

"Have a good day," She says to us. We nod as we both take off. She walks ahead of me. I run to catch up to Caty.

"Miss Caty, would you want to get some coffee with me?" I asked wanting a yes or sure. She stops walking and turns to me. Which causes me to stop right next to her, she studies all of my facial features making me nervous.

"Are you asking me on a date, Sir?" She seemed professional now, but never has before. I rub the back of my neck thinking of what to say. "Thought so." She turned and walked off. I caught up to her right when she got to her car.

"It's not a date. I want to discuss certain things with you, Miss." I don't know how to keep going with this. She's different and I can't exactly grasp what has made her seem so different. She puts her things in the backseat of her car.

"Have a good day," Caty says then shuts her driver side door. She starts the car and exits the car park. Leaving me puzzled. The summer breeze going through the air during the sun setting. I sigh heading back to my car. That was the stupidest decision I've made...
