Caty Jones' POV

"So, you saw him with another girl a few days ago? They were giving each other this dazzling look and holding hands... Wow," Cassandra said processing everything I told her. She sighed shaking her head. We were both sitting on a bench in our backyard watching the sunset. I basically told her everything that happened a couple days ago.

"Yeah.." I mumbled watching the sun slowly go down. She watched the sunset for a moment too. I wondered what was going through her mind.

"What're you going to do?" She asked me. I shrugged not actually knowing what the next step is. I didn't know if I should tell him to rip the contract or let it be. Either way he broke the rules.

"Well, when you figure it out. Let me know," She smiled at me got up from the bench and headed back inside. I grabbed my phone knowing damn well tomorrow is Caleb's twenty fourth birthday. So, I decided to hit up Daniella.

-

"Hey!" She greeted me.

"Hey! How have you been?" I asked.

"Good, good. Um.. come in!" She said enthusiastically opening the door wide enough for me to enter. I went in taking my shoes off at the door. This house was gorgeous but, I assumed it was Caleb's Mother's by how her aesthetic was.

"So, whats going on?" Daniella asked as we both sat on the couch.

"First off, I noticed tomorrow is Caleb's birthday. Second, I caught him with another girl... They were on a date," I confess being straightforward about what happened. She sighed shaking her head disappointingly.

"I'm not surprised unfortunately... What saddens me even more was he told me you were the one, you were different than any other girl." She told me. I didn't want to believe but Daniella seemed more kind to me. More open and personal to an extent.

"He told me he loved me... I guess that was a lie too. Anyways, I want you and his Mom to throw him a last minute birthday party tomorrow. I want to know if he's gonna bring her or not," She nodded then glanced at the back door.

"So, you want to test him?" I nodded.

"And then um... I'm going to fly to America to visit my sister. As soon as Christmas Break begins. Apparently my Mom said she wanted nothing to do with Evelyn this year. So, I'm going to spend most of my Christmas Break with her... I don't want Caleb to know either," I tell her my plans just to be honest.

"Alright. Um... if you're going on a trip to the U.S..." she trailed off exiting the family room. I stood up curious as to what she was trying to say. She came back with an envelope handing it to me.

"Caleb sends so much money like it's nothing but uh... This check I didn't feel like it belonged to me," I opened it to see so much cash. My eyes widen in shock.

"Daniella, how much?" I asked.

"Thirty grand. I don't want it. So, don't give it back," I put the envelope in my purse shocked from what I received.

"Thanks but, why are you giving it to me?" I asked curiously.

"I read people very well. I truly believe you're meant for him. You put him in his place, you're stubborn and I just sense goodness within you. Caleb couldn't handle how you were because no one has ever opened his eyes the way you did. But, Caleb broke the rules like always, and then you break one.... And then to Caleb it's the very end of the world. I've yelled at him, believing he would lose you over something stupid, he did. Once he realizes it... he's going to go insane. But, the party ideal is a wonderful idea. And if I don't see you anytime after, I wish you a safe trip," She tells me. I smile knowing she's been the nicest. His Mother wasn't so kind when we first talked.
