Caty Jones' POV

I hear my phone ringing from inside my bedroom. I go in to see Caleb's name show up. I sigh answering it, "Hello?"

"Hey... So, I had no idea my Mother was gonna throw me a last minute birthday party. I was wondering if you would like to go since I introduced you as my girlfriend to my Mom," He sounded like he was having a really rough day. I knew my plan was working which made me happy inside.

"Why did you call me? Why not take her?" Knowing damn well exactly who I was speaking about.

"About that. We need to talk-"

"I think you need to rip the contract and let me go," I stated cutting him off completely, "You've been seeing that girl for god knows how long... I'm not even surprised if you slept with her!"

He stayed completely silent. I had to process if what I had said was actually true. My heart stopped for a minute. Oh my lord... He actually had ... A tear fell down my cheek not even realizing my eyes had began watering.

"You did... Then, you should definitely rip the contract-"

"No," He said sternly, "I'm not ripping that contract, Caty!" Silence remained between us as we stayed on the phone call.

"So, I break the rules once and it's the end of the fucken world. Yet you have the actual audacity to not rip the contract when you were the one hooking up with her for god only knows...!" I yell at him. My lip began to quiver knowing that tears are going to fall down my cheeks.

"I CANT LET YOU GO, CATY! I was drunk last night... I wasn't thinking... it didn't mean anything and I told her that she and I needed to stop seeing each other!" He yelled back.

"How do you hook up with someone and claim it didn't mean anything?" I hung up on him after saying the last word feeling the tears fall slowly down my cheeks.

"Cassandra! Get ready... We have a party to attend!" I exclaim talking about Caleb. I couldn't even process that phone call. He lied to me about the contract deal. He slept with someone and went on dates with her. Now he won't even let me go so, I got ripped off. I'll teach him.

"Caty! Someone's knocking on the door!" Cassandra exclaimed trying to finish getting ready. I rush to the living room to open the front door. I twist the knob to open it and when I do I see Caleb in a tux standing there.

"What do you want?" I asked obnoxiously. He didn't deserve my time right now.

"I came here to get you and Cassandra," He said putting his hands in his pockets.

"I never gave you a yes-"

"You never gave me a No... Look, Caty I apologize about how I acted during our discussion over the phone.... It's my birthday, can you please cooperate with me and... we will talk later?" I huffed not exactly wanting to.

"Why should I? You haven't been the best right now..." Was it bad that I didn't feel like giving in? But, I knew I probably had to?

"Please.." He said desperately. He and I held eye contact reminding me of all the times we were at his place. The way he looked at me in his class. Everything was there without us saying anything. But, I was still too angry with what he had said and done. So...

"Cassandra! We're going with Mr. Finn!" I exclaim as I slam the door in his face rushing into my room. I grab my purse that had my phone, wallet, and keys. Also period supplies just in case. I see Cassandra finally finish her makeup. She also was putting things in her purse.
