Cassandra's POV

"Hey Caleb!" Lillie greeted her brother. They side hugged but he still kept his arm around her.

"Hey, Lillie. When did you show?" He asked her.

"Not too long after you did. I found Cassandra though. We talked and stuff. She said she was lost," Lillie went on explaining everything. He looked at me.

"Lost? I thought Caty was with you? I told you both to meet me in the backyard," He told me being stern. Were we not safe here by ourselves? Or due to the amount of tipsy or drunk men here?

"Caty took off with someone," his eyes widen which I never thought...

"What?!" He left the both of us there immediately. He began looking for her like something bad would occur. Lillie lifted her eyebrow at me.

"What the hell got his panties in a twist?" She asked me.

"Caty is his girlfriend. She took off and he's panicking," I tell her. She nods taking a sip from the wine glass she got from one of the waiters walking around with trays of wine glasses full of different drinks.

"Hey.. Did you want to go somewhere more private while Birthday Boy looks for his girl?" Lillie asked. I didn't know whether to say yes or no... I haven't met someone new in a while.

"Yeah," I smiled at her. She grabbed my hand leading me inside the house. This was definitely out of my comfort zone.

Caleb Finn's POV

I couldn't find her anywhere. I looked in the backyard in the family room. In the rooms downstairs were empty. I went upstairs going through rooms until I found her in my Mum's. She was watching from the window with a smile on her face. I studied everything about her. She was wearing the pink dress I gave her not so long ago. Her hair was curled yet it was down. It complimented her skin.

"I've been looking for you," I finally speak startling her.

"Have you?" She asked turning towards me moving away from the curtain.

"I have..... Can I please explain everything? Since, were both alone," I asked waiting for her to respond. She sighed walking towards me but turned to close the door. She moved past me again sitting on the bed patting down the spot next to her. I walked to Caty sitting next to her on the bed.

"Her name is Samantha. She and I started talking at the restaurant I enjoy eating at. She and I went on ten different dates... Yesterday, I believed I dropped the stuff off and then I went to the bar. I was waiting for you to call me. You never did. Samantha showed up with one of her friends. She and I got drunk and we headed back to my place. She suggested to um... go in my room. My mind was constantly telling me it was wrong. Yet, I didn't listen because of the amount of alcohol I drank. We did it... I wasn't interested in it because my mind couldn't stop thinking about you. She didn't seem that into it either. So, at some point I stopped and got off of her. Afterwards she asked if something was wrong... I was acting funny... I told her we needed to stop seeing each other," I stopped talking to glance at Caty. She wasn't looking at me but, I knew she was listening.

"She knew I had someone else in mind... She understood.. I got her an Uber back to her home. I haven't heard from her since last night." I sighed running my hand through my hair. I still had the white fancy gloves on so my hair was a little staticky. I took them off setting them on the edge of the bed.

"Why did you do it? Even though we signed that paper..." The tears began to form in her eyes. I turned her towards me as I cupped her cheeks making sure we held eye contact the entire time.
