Caleb Finn's POV

I was sitting in the park watching the kids. I couldn't get over the fact my daughter will be turning five years old. I haven't even met her. I've been patiently waiting for my girlfriend Caty and my baby Nicole to finally arrive. We haven't spoken in years. We just follow each other on social media. I just sense when she's checking in on me. I get his butterfly feeling and I'll see she's active or something.

"Hey... can you help me? I lost my Mom," this little girl comes up and asks me. She had brown hair curly hair. It was put up in a braid. She was wearing a pink dress with crocks on her feet.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"Nicole," She said. I have a daughter named Nicole too.

"Do you know your Mom's name?" I asked her kneeling down talking to her.

"Kay-tee," She said in little voice.

"Do you want me to show you where she was last?" She nods grabbing my hand. I stand up as she walks me to where her Mom last was.

"Mommy!" She yelled in excitement as she ran towards her dragging me with. Once she stops, I stop too.

She turns to me, "Thank you for helping me find her." She smiled afterwards. She was so adorable.

"Find me? I went to the bathroom," She said. She turns to look at me, "I'm so sorry she disturbed you-"
And stopped herself mid-sentence. I looked at her and I saw her. Caty Jones. Her hair was a darker brown. She was a little stronger now. She was wearing a dark blue and black flannel. And leggings. She was wearing makeup. She was also petite again. She looked gorgeous.

"Hey..." I say to her. The first time I've seen her in four years. Only getting updates through Cassandra. Caty always left me on delivered or call is ignored. But, I see her.

"Long time no see," She says to me.

"Yeah, I guess so," She was the one who kept me away from my daughter.

"Mommy, you know him?" Our little girl asked her.

"That's your Dad," Caty said picking her up. You don't spring that on a four year old. "I wanted you to meet him this year," She said. Nicole made arm motions wanting me to hold her. Caty gives her to me. She had my eyes, and my hair. She was adorable and it felt amazing to have her in my arms again.

"When did you come back?" I asked her holding Nicole.

"Three Weeks Ago. I moved back in with Cassandra. I don't have any place to go in Melbourne really," She said to me.

"You could've just called," I stated.

"I wanted to... I just didn't think you would pick up... being famous and all," She said. Nicole gasped and looked at me.

"You're famous?!" She looked shocked. I smiled at her thinking she was cute.

"Yes, I am," I tell her. She makes this cute high-pitched squeal. I was not expecting her to be this outgoing but, she's also a child.

"Mommy! Mommy! Let's go with him! Pweaseeee!" She said squirming in my arms a lot. Caty sighs as if she really didn't want to.

"Yeah, we can. But, Cassandra is babysitting you tonight," Caty says to her.

"Okay," She said wanting to go back to being held by Caty. Caty grabs her as she makes a hand motion for me to follow her. Caty puts Nicole in her booster seat buckling her in. She waves at me and I wave back. Caty closes the door leaning against it finally looking at me.

"How's life been?" She asked me.

"Good. Except for the part where I missed four years of my daughters life," I replied. I shrugged crossing my arms against my chest.

"Cassandra told me you moved into a three bedroom house?" She raised an eyebrow confused. I shrugged.

"I needed a change. So, now I'm my true self," I tell her. I wasn't wrong.

"So, you haven't found anyone else?" She asked me. I was shocked to hear such a question leave her mouth. We both never broke up. I just wasn't good enough to get her to stay all those years ago.

"We never really broke up five years ago," I tell her admitting the truth. Unless she moved on.

"Yeah... Look, I've always wanted to message and call you-"

"Same here," I responded cutting her off. She smiled shyly as if nothing between us had changed. I returned the genuine smile making me relieved that everything was slowly falling into place again.
It felt wrong missing four years of my daughters life. Her first word, birthdays, holidays, her first steps. I missed a lot of things that I wish I could go back in time and fix.

"It was great seeing you again," She said hugging me. I hugged her back tighter than usual never wanting this moment to end. She slowly pulled away and I let her. She smiled, "Tonight at 7. We go to dinner. I'll be at Cassandra's."

She opened the drivers side door. About to get in.

"Okay," I responded.

"See you then," I reply back. She winks before getting in her vehicle. She starts it before driving away a minute later. Hopefully, I could finally have my family with me now.
