Caty Jones' POV:

I lost track of time between homework and my portrait of Mr. Finn. Well, I dont know what came to mind about painting him but, it did. My phone went off and I decided to take a shower before answering it.

Unknown Number

Hey, this is Caleb Finn. Your Psychology teacher. I'll be over at 20:00 to come get you. Wear something fancy ;)

Me: Alright. See ya then.

I exit out of my messaging app to see the time read 7:33p.m. I blow dry my hair to where it's damp. I get into a set of clothes. A pair of high waist black jean shorts, my under 'garments' (bra and underwear), and a grey v-neck. The v-neck didn't go all the way to my cleavage thankfully. I put it in a duffle bag knowing I'm spending the night. Along with Cassandra my roommate staying with her brother for the weekend.
I put my charger, my keys and wallet into my purse. I put my purse on top of my duffle bag. As I go into my closet finding a black dress.

I sigh taking a final look at myself before checking the time to see that he's here. I grab my belongings heading out the door. I lock it behind me walking towards his vehicle. He was leaning against the passenger door. He looked super handsome. He opens the passenger door for me taking the duffle bag out of my hands. I get into the vehicle and Caleb immediately closes the door after I'm in. I put on my seat belt as he opens the trunk putting my duffle bag in. He closes it then gets into the drivers side. Caleb puts the car in reverse paying attention to where he's going. Then puts it in drive leaving my neighborhood.
The car ride was silent with music playing in the background. I didn't mind it because the music made it less awkward between us.

"We have some things to discuss. So, we are having a fancy dinner," I nod as he continues driving to the destination we are headed.

I rolled my window down to feel the wind blow through. The breeze was absolutely wonderful and it made car rides worth it all the time. Especially if they were long car rides. It reminded of me of the times my older siblings explained what it was like being in America.
It made me truly miss them for sure. I kind of grew up an only child. Even though I'm the youngest. My older sister Evelyn Jones, she is a Biologist. But, she kind of chose to live in America. She's also homosexual and felt at home there as well.

I honestly didn't blame her. My parents love her dearly, but she didn't feel comfortable that she had to act as if she was attracted to men around other family members.
I truly missed Evelyn. I'll probably call her and gossip all about college soon. I sigh as he parks the vehicle at a fancy restaurant.

"We're here, Caty," said Caleb. I nod as he opens the door getting out. I grab my purse and then unbuckle my seatbelt. I hear the door open to see Caleb standing at it waiting for me to exit. Which I do and thank him. He nods closing the door pushing the button to lock his car. We both went into the restaurant and ate.

We both were laughing at something ridiculous I did. He twirled me around twice and then dipped me. I squealed from excitement as we kept walking. I smiled as I felt the nice September breeze go by. I sigh in happiness very content with myself for the first time. I felt at home.

"You know, Caty," He said wrapping his arms around my waist. I felt his breath tickle my neck as I feel his mouth by my ear, "I haven't taken someone out on a date in a long time." My eyes widen in shock as he let go of me. His arms lifting me up bridal style. I gasp as I hold onto him tightly. He walks me to his car putting me in the passenger seat.

I replayed the words like lyrics. I didn't know if it was believable or not. It was mixed signaled or... I was reading the signs correctly? We headed back to his place. The music was contained of the legend. Michael Bublé. I bit my lip as I listened to the next song on the radio.

The car ride back was peaceful. It wasn't uncomfortable like it was once before. He carries me into his house again. He opened the door carrying me upstairs.

"Aren't you tired of carrying me?" I asked him. He shook his head as we enter his bedroom. He sets me down gently on the bed as if I would break if he didn't. I smiled as I felt the sheets remembering everything.

"I'll be back," He said exiting the room. I nod as I take in his bedroom.
