The moment Jonathan left the meeting in an unexplained hurry with his brothers, everyone tried to keep up small talks but their eyes couldn't hide their anxiety and troubled worry.

"Do you think everything is okay?" Mary asked no one in particular for the fifth time after she checked her wristwatch again.

She was so worried about her husband, Jackson and his brothers. She had tried calling but no one picked.

Laura moved to console her with a hug, "Don't worry, they are coming back soon."

To confirm her words, two jeeps drove into the compound. They aserted their attention to the enterance. Jackson was the first to come in. Mary leaped off the couch and ran to hug her husband, she rubbed his back and kissed him and asked if everything was okay.

Jackson said nothing, he dropped his head to his wife's arms. The unknown location about his mother was a thorn that kept poking at him. His wife took his arm, leading him to sit as he narrated the whole situation to anyone that listened.

From the moment Jackson's words hit them all, Sandra knew she had made a mistake, she should have told them about the phone call. She rebuked herself. She grew sad for her best friend.

Jonathan was the last to enter the house after John and Micheal. Every seat was occupied except that beside Laura, he tried to avoid her eyes as he sat close to her.

He kept racking his brain about his mother. He knew it was their father, but the fact that they had to wait for a call since it was an abduction and their father obviously needed something in return made him uncomfortable and furious at their 'sitting ducks' situation.

Laura stretched and withdrew her hand twice, she wanted to touch her husband and hug him but their worlds were all of a sudden so different and against each other.

His father was the boggeyman in her nightmares but he was the prince charming of her dreams.

Ignoring her doubts for once, she made a move and touched his shoulder. She felt him tense up under her palm, she thought to withdraw it but instead she rubbed his back softly and told him how sorry she was.

"Your mother is alive Nath, we will find her baby. We are in this together, remember." He looked at her and smiled with a nod. To hear his wife talk to him like he wasn't a stranger made Jonathan feel hopeful.

"Thank you. What about you, how are you feeling? I was so scared to see you in pain." He took her hand from his back and held it in his palm, he caressed her knuckles with his thumb.

"I'm fine Nath. I was so scared of remembering my past that it almost cost me my future. You were always with me Jonathan. Everyday on that sick bed, you and katherine were always with me." Laura smiled at how Jonathan's eyebrows squeezed in confusion.

"I know you don't understand but when I was in coma, I always had nightmares of being in a fire and running from men I couldn't recognize. I also saw you and katherine, you always appeared to remind me of who I was. Now that I remember my childhood, us and both of my families. I also understand that you are a good man who cares for his family and I know I have not been easy to deal with," she chuckeled when Jonathan nodded his head to that, "But I'm glad I have you Jonathan. Thank you."

Jonathan stared at his wife with euphoric eyes, he also had words he wanted to spill into her ears but he knew she wasn't ready. He knew that till they had their father in custody, his family wasn't safe.

He just couldn't believe he was married to a princess.

"I'm just glad you are okay laura. I mean, I'm married to a princess. I feel like I have alot to know."
