Laila I was sitting in my last hour of the day. It's been a minute since I was in class, but I'm glad to be back because I graduate next month with my bachelors in nursing. I had a lot of work to catch up on, but I did it. I'm graduating top 10% of my class. I was completely fine with that.
"Okay, class don't forget to submit all you guys work to the website. Continue to study, because finals are coming up. You guys will be doing hands on as well, so make sure you got everything down. Class dismissed," she said. I start putting my books in my bag. I wrapped my stethoscope around my neck and put my book bag on my shoulder and started walking out.
"Hey Laila," I heard. I turned around and seen my classmate Rilee calling my name. "What's up girl," I said. She was super cool, we always partnered up with group projects. "What you doing this weekend," she asked? "Girl, nothing at all," I said. She smiled, "I'm having a party girl, you should come," she said. I thought about it, "okay, I'll be there just text me the details," I said while giving her my number. She nodded, and we walked out. I saw De'juan standing by my car as I walked out the building. He had roses in his hand. I smiled.
"Are these for me," I questioned? "No, they're for you duh," he said. I smacked him on the arm and snatched the roses out his hand. "Thank you smart ass," I smiled. He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. "Omg, his lips were so soft," I thought. "How you get here, why you here, where's your car," I questioned?
"Chad dropped me off, to see you of course, and it's at my crib," he said with a smirk. I threw him my car keys, and we got into my car.
"Laila, I have a surprise for you," He said with a smirk. "What is it," I questioned. "You'll see," he said. I nodded and look out the window.
Rilee texted me, "the party going to be at my place 1906 Remington Rd. You can bring a friend," she said. I replied okay. After about 30mins, we were pulling up to a building.
He parked and got out and opened my door. I smiled, and he grabbed my hand and we walked in. "Omg, this restaurant is beautiful," I said. "Thank you, I've been so busy trying to get it right. All we got to do is finish the bar and it'll be set," Juan said. "Omg, this yours? I am so proud of you," I said while hugging him. He cheesed, "thank you so much baby," he said.
The rest of the day, we just chilled at my crib watching movies and eating popcorn. I'm not going to lie, I am falling back for Juan. I had on my white crop top and white shorts with my pink sneakers and my pink jacket to top it off. I thought I looked good as hell, well I actually did. I wish I could've brought Brittney, but bestie boo carrying my godbaby.
"Hey, girl," Rilee said giving me a hug. "Girl, what's up. This party nice," I said. She nodded looking around like she really did something. "You're look cute girl," she said. I smiled, "of course, take my picture," I said. I handed her my phone and she snapped a couple pictures.
