Two chapters one night!🤭 must be a quarantine miracle!! (Jk!!) I thought I would write this while I had the idea of how I wanted to continue it before it ran away.  It's a bit short again so I apologize!! Thank you again for all you're guys support!!!! Enjoy and stay safe!!!!!
I woke up to the hospital wing again. This is seeming to be a regular thing. I sat up and looked around, Cal was sitting in a chair in the corner. Although this time he sat with some swagger and not uncomfortable panic.
"Oh good you're up" he was very cheerful for the room we were in.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"First you're welcome for not leaving you in the cold second you were dehydrated and needed liquid," he pointed to the IV pole on the other side of the bed. "And you were very pale so I just wanted to be safe." He had such a playfulness in his voice. He was for sure up to something.
"Also I wanted to let you know I will be expecting you at the 'training hall' as soon as you are done here."
"Why?"
"Well if you want to fight this battle you got to at least be strong enough to fight." With that he gave me and childish smirk and left.

It was sometime later and I was pumped to start training. He was finally taking me serious and it felt good to have some bit of normalcy. I am staying persistent, I will be the one to end this. This is my battle and I have sacrificed to many lives for this.
"So I was thinking we start with some laps around the base and then" he couldn't even finish his sentence. I was fired up and just wanted to brawl so I shot a little bit of lightning at him. Not enough to hurt him but enough to scare him.
"Come one Mare, we should start slow and work our way up before we full on go at each other."
"Oh come one you scared I'm gonna whoop you ass in this fight?"
"No, you are 5'2 and injured you will hurt yourself."
I shot another bolt at him.
"Fine, but don't be crying when I win." She smiled devilishly and got into position.
"Same for you."
(I deeply apologize I have never fought anyone or know anything about fighting so bare with me!) I was the one to throw the first punch. I barely missed and turned enough he elbowed me in the back. I stumbled a bit but spun right back around and kicked him. It landed on his side and shocked him a bit. We faced each other and circled a bit trying to find strategies. We were both smiling like children. It was exhilarating. I missed this rush!  I finally went at him and swept his leg out from underneath him. He was quick he hit the ground and got right back up. He spun around and kicked me square in the chest. Instant pain roar through me. Not only did he knock the wind out of me but he kicked my wound. I hit the floor clutching my chest. He instantly knew what he did and he ran over to me.
"I am so sorry, I don't know what came over me, are you," that's when I upper cutters him. He fell back holding his nose. I stood up trying to regain myself. I would greatly pay for that later but I wasn't bleeding so therefor I could keep going.
"I'm fine but next time you do that it will be more than a bloody nose."
He looked up and gave a sheepish smile. I reached out a hand to help him up.
"Are you ok?" I ask with concern but a touch of mocking.
"I'm fine but maybe we should hold off on the sparing for a little longer."
"Fair"
"Let's just do some strengthening shall we?" With that we walking over to the make shift weights and used those for a bit. There wasn't much talking but we we at least together and we weren't arguing. She need this. She needed to put her anger and pain and frustration into something useful or something other and the poor woods outside the base. She made a mental note to thank Cal later for this and to thank him for understanding.
