"Alright everyone the sooner we start this the sooner it ends. Now our plan just got more complex"
I glare at Mare and she glares back. I still can't believe that she is dumb enough to be apart of this but I really shouldn't be surprised.
"I called another meeting today to discuss what has changed and what is still a go. We have sent out more spy's to look over the castle and report back. They are posing as red servants and should go undetected if they follow the protocol. They reported back the other day that there is mention of a ball going on the night we plan to attack. We will continue forward with the previous plan, lure him outside, kill him there, and then finish the rest off."
"We should attack the night before. He will be expecting us if we attack during the ball."
Oh wonderful the little one opened her mouth.
"Mare we have made this plan and approved it weeks ago, we are not changing it. Remember Im the one that let you back in this, don't make me regret it."
I tried to say it with as much poison as I could but she is too dense for the poison to take affect.
"He is much smarter then you think if is Farley. And you do not control what I do and do not do. You are the ones in the middle of my fight"
"Well would you like to do it by yourself then. No? Sit down barrow."
Mare sat down and burned a hole right through my head.
"Now that is done with, we have two weeks till we attack. We have more new bloods joining everyday so the assignments will be given to everyone in a week, till then keep training. We will need everyone in top shape if we want to win this. Most of you already know you jobs, those who don't I will be sending them out soon."
I plan on keeping as much information on the down low as possible. Anyone could be a trader but also I don't want anyone whining and/0r ruining this attack. My father has trusted me with this and I refuse to go down until we win. And we have to win, no child should be raised the way we were ever again. I steal a look at Shade. His brow is furrowed in thought. I have to win for him.
The meeting goes on for a while longer as I answer questions and try my best to prepare them for what is to come.
"We will meet again before we attack but until then this meeting is concluded."
Everyone starts to walk out of the room and I can finally take in a deep breathe. This plan can't go wrong.
