Chapter 15

Taehyun laid on his bed as the sky cried out aloud. Thunder lightened up the streets in the dark of night as unsettling feeling took home in Taehyun.

He was never afraid of thunderstorms but today he felt like he should do something. As Taehyun kept thinking about it the feeling increased. It was like something ugly bloomed inside of him. The feeling made him feel like something.

It was late in night. Taehyun was not sure as he opened the door of Yeonjun's room. He did not even know what he was doing here, he had just acted on impulse. However except of embarrassment Taehyun felt nothing as he made his way to Yeojun's bed. It was his first time here, the room was dark and the only thing helping him was the brightness brought by thunder.

'Yeonjun hyung are you awake?' Taehyun whispered as he bent over to find a body on the bed. Finally after alot of hands wondering Taehyun found Yeonjun curled up. Shaking and withering. Worriedly Taehyun switched on the lamp on the table beside the bed. Yeonjun was asleep but tears made their way through his eyes. Hands in a fist holding the comforter as he shook uncontrollably. The uncomfortable feeling grew inside Taehyun as stood watching his Yeonjun whimpering. After counting of possibilities in his head Taehyun finally gave up and sat down on the bed, hands shaking Yeonjun awake. It took some time but Yeonjun finally opened his eyes as he sat abruptly looking around.

'Ah! Taehyun what are you doing here?' Yeonjun inquired acting like he was fine.

On the other hand Taehyun sat uncomfortably searching his mind for answers. What was he doing here? What if he says something and makes Yeonjun angry hence he says something in the end which he knows will save him from embarrassment and any other unwanted feelings.

'You screamed hyung. You were making alot of noise. I was out in the hallway going to kitchen for water but I heard so I came in.' Taehyun said as wiped the tears from Yeonjun's face with his hand ignoring the way Yeonjun flinched. 

Yeonjun sat there trying to take in what younger had just said.'You can go now. I am fine.Go sleep.'

Taehyun stood up and went towards lamp to turn it off when he heard Yeonjun whisper something, his voice breaking 'Can you just stay with me until I fall asleep?'

It broke Taehyun's heart but he still acted unaffected as he turned around.'You just asked me to go.'

'Stay.'

Taehyun holds Yeonjun close to him despite his small frame. His arms around Yeonjun holding him close.His hands draw comforting circles on Yeonjun's back. His head on Yeonjun's chest as he whisper all the comforting things his mind can remember of. 

At the moment there bodies were one and Yeonjun for the frst time had  found comfortin the same gender. He knew his attraction for the younger but he had no idea that it was to this point where he will allow him to hold him in his bed as he dreams about all the things that made him hate people who were gay.

Yeonjun closed his eyes he felt Taehyun kissing his Shoulder before moving on to his ear 'It's okay to cry hyung if you feel scared however its not okay to feel scared for crying.'

That night they both slept comfortably albeit awkwardly. As their pounding heartbeats drowned the noise of thunderstorm as they took the first step towards 'US'.
