We continue taking photos for like an hour on the beach and near the actual fair part. When we're done Darrien says he has to leave but we all decide to stay and go on the rides. We're walking over to our first ride when Josh comes up to me. "Hey Bean, so what's up with you and Jaden." he asked me. "What do you mean?" I reply. "Well we saw you guys holding hands, and I saw what you guys were doing when you were taking pictures and you basically spent the entire day together." he said. "Oh, well we're just getting to know each other." I tell him. "Nope, no you don't act like that around people you're just trying to get to know. What's really going on?."

"Josh I don't know, I just met him today. All I know is I like being around him." I tell him. He just stands there quiet. "Josh if I tell you something you promise you won't tell anybody?" I ask. He nods. "Okay so when we were looking at the pictures he whispered in my ear. He said we look good together and when he said that, I don't know but like I got butterflies. And like I've never had butterflies before. Not even when I was with Brayden."

"Wait did you and Brayden break up?" he asked me. "Yea, earlier today." I reply. "So why don't you just go for Jaden. Theres obviously a special connection between you guys. And you have time to get to know each other better. Plus you obviously feel something if you got butterflies for him." Josh tells me. "But we just met today and I just don't think there's anything between us. It's way too early." I say. "Well why don't you just give it time and see where it goes." he says. I nod and he walks away.

We spent the next 3 hours going on rides and just messing around until we finally decide to leave. When we get home I go up to my room to shower.

*Jadens POV*
We pull up to the house and as soon as we walk in I go straight to the kitchen. I see Nailea walk upstairs and I think about if I go should go with her. I kind of want to ask her to hang out but I don't want her to think I'm desperate. Wait what am I thinking, she's not even interested in me. I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Josh calling my name. "Oh sorry man, what did you say?" I asked.

"I said can we talk." He replied. "Uhhh yea sure." I say and we sit down. "Okay so what's up with you and my sister?" He asked me. "Oh dude I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" I ask kind of worried. Josh just laughed. "No dude you guys just seemed really close so I was just wondering if there's something there." he says. "Oh. Ummm nah. Like I really like being around her but we just met today." I tell him. "Wow that's funny she said the exact same thing."

Wait. What? She was talking about me to him. Is this a sign or something. Wait, no Jaden. You guys just met. "Did she say anything else?" I ask. "Ummm yea, but if I tell you, you have to promise not to say anything. She will kill me if she finds out I told you." he says. "Okay I promise." I reply. "So she told me about what you whispered to her when you were looking at the photos." Great, she told him. Now I'm embarrassed. "And she said she got butterflies. And she also said she's never had butterflies before, not even with her ex." he told me. I couldn't contain it, and a huge smile grew on my face. I think Josh could tell I was a little excited.

"Dude, I'm being 100% truthful when I say this. I think there's a special connection between you two. Whether or not you or her wants to admit it, but it's there. And I honestly do think you'd be good for her. I've never seen her so happy around a guy, and she's only known you for a day." he tells me. "So what are you saying?" I ask him. "I'm saying I think you should definitely try to get to know her better, and if you start to get feelings, I think you should go for it." he says. "Well okay, thanks for telling me bro." I say. "No problem." He pats me on the back and walks away.

Wow. I really have a lot to think about.

*Naileas POV*

After my shower I put on an oversized hoodie I bought today and a pair of spandex. As I was going through the bag of clothes I bought I realized I never gave Jaden the pullover I bought for him. I dry my hair and put all my stuff away and then make my way to Jaden's room. I knock on the door and hear him yell to come in.

When I walk in he's laying in his bed shirtless. Wow, he's so hot. No Nailea, snap out of it. "Hey beautiful, what's up." Great now I'm probably blushing in front of him for the 100th time today. I walk over to his bed and hand him the pullover. "I saw this while you were picking out my outfit and I just thought it kind of matched you." I say. He looks at it and smiles. "And I guess it was kind of just a thank you for lunch. But also now you probably think I'm creepy because it's super weird for me to get you a gift because like we literally met like less than 24 hours ago. So I understand if you think I'm weird or cree-." My rambling gets cut off by him.

"Nailea, chill out." he laughs. "I love it, thank you. And no, I don't think you're weird or creepy." I sighed with relief. He laughed a little and gave me a small smile. "Well umm I'm gonna go I guess." I say awkwardly walking backwards away from his bed. Then I trip over something and stumble backwards. Wow could I be anymore embarrassing? I look up at him and he's just smiling. "Goodnight dork." he says and laughs. "Goodnight." I say and leave his room.

I go to my room and lay down on my bed. I decide to watch Netflix for a while.

*2 hours later*

It's about 1 am and I'm still watching Netflix. I post it on my instagram story and then go back to watching. A few minutes later I get a text from Jaden.

Jaden: go to sleep dork

Nailea: no, i'm watching netflix

Jaden: come to my room,
watch with me

Nailea: nah, i'm too comfy
to get up

Jaden: you're lame ☹️

Nailea: maybe next time hossler

Jaden: ughh fine,
goodnight beautiful

Nailea: goodnight <3

I put my phone down and watch one more episode of my show. When it finishes I put my phone on charge and open spotify on the tv so I can play music. Just before I'm about to lay down I get a notification from snapchat.
