Today is the day of Noelani and I's party. The girls and I are currently driving to the airbnb we rented to drop off some stuff. Some of the guys are already there setting up and the rest are out getting more things for the party. I'm not sure where Jaden is though. Yesterday I went out with the girls and he wasn't at the house when I got home. I fell asleep before he came home and then he wasn't there when I woke up this morning. I texted him earlier and he just said he had stuff to do.
It's unusual for him to just text me and say that he's busy. Usually he tells me like what he has to do or like tells me what time he'll be done. And it was even weirder because it's my birthday. Why wouldn't he want to talk to me on my birthday? Maybe I'm just overthinking.
We finally arrive at the airbnb and I was hoping to see Jaden when I walked in, but still no sign of him. After we carried all the stuff in I walked into the kitchen where Bryce and Griffin were organizing the drinks. "Hey, have either of you heard from Jaden today?" I asked. "Nah, he came home after I fell asleep and he was gone before we woke up." Bryce said. "Or he never came home at all." Griffin laughed and Bryce hit his arm as he could tell I had a worried look on my face.
"What time did you go to sleep?" I asked Bryce. "Like 4 am." He replied. I nodded and walked out of the kitchen. So Bryce fell asleep at 4 and Jaden still wasn't home and I woke up at 6 and he wasn't there. Why would he only come home for 2 hours? Or maybe Griff is right and he never did. But why would he stay out all night and not tell me where he is? That's not like him.
I got even more worried so I went upstairs to one of the rooms and called him. No answer. I tried again. No answer. And again. No answer. Great, today is supposed to be nothing but fun before I go back home. And here I am, stressed because I have no idea where my boyfriend is.
I decide to let it go for a little and just hope that he'll show up soon. I go back downstairs and help set up. After about an hour of setting up the rest of the boys arrive and still no sign of Jaden. We all just chill on the beach because we still have like 2 hours before the party is supposed to start. Hopefully he'd be here by then.
*2 hours later*
The house started to fill up with more and more people. I walked around saying hi to a bunch of people as I searched for Jaden. He still wasn't answering my calls or texts, so maybe his phone just died. That's possible right?
2 more hours went by and I still haven't seen Jaden. I was starting to get really worried. I was sitting on the beach around a fire with some people from sway and a few of the boys' friends. All of a sudden my phone goes off and I immediately pick it up in hopes of it being Jaden. I look at my screen and see it's just a notification from tiktok room. I'm assuming someone got into drama at the party and I'm just tagged because it's my party. So I didn't really think anything of it.
That was until Bryce and Josh both gave eachother scared looks after checking their phones. I pick my phone back up and check the notification.

As soon as I saw the video and read the post tears started flowing. I got up and ran inside the house and upstairs. I was looking for a room that was empty and as soon as I found one I locked myself in.
*Jaden's POV* *he owes us and explanation*
I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was 7 pm already. I needed to get going. The party started an hour ago and it's gonna take me like an hour to get there. I just finished setting up Nailea's room. She's probably really worried because I haven't texted her all day, but I was too excited. I might've given away the surprise.
Last night I was out getting her gifts and then at like 3 am I had to pick up her friends from the airport. I didn't tell the boys because I didn't want them to slip up. I picked up her friends and then took them to their airbnb and then spent the rest of the time running around getting stuff for her room. I haven't slept for a whole day, but it's worth it for her.
*1 hour later*
I finally arrive at the party and I can't find Nailea anywhere. I ran into Josh as I was looking for her. "Hey have you seen my girl?" I asked him. "Dude I think you messed it up with your girl." He said with an attitude while doing air quotes around your girl. "What are talking about?" I ask. "Check your instagram." He says.
Just as I was about to pull out my phone I get pushed up against the wall. "How could you fucking do that to her?" Bryce yelled as he held me against the wall. "What the hell are you talking about?" I ask pushing him off of me. "You're really just gonna embarrass her like that on her birthday?" He asked again. I look at him confused then open instagram, and that's when I saw the post. "Shit, shit, shit." I say putting my phone back in my pocket.
"Yea that's right buddy, you fucked up. And you better fix it before I fuck you up." Bryce says. Bryce and Nailea have become so close and he's gotten so protective over her. And because I love her and I kind of like being alive, I would never cheat on her.
"Fuck I need to find her." I say walking off. I searched everywhere I could and I couldn't find her anywhere.
*Nailea's POV*
I couldn't stay here any longer. I was too embarrassed to even show my face. How can I fuck up so bad to get cheated on in every relationship. And how could I be so stupid to think Jaden was different. I know what I need to do. I need to leave. Tonight.
