*1 week later*

Today is the day that Jaden and Ellie are getting the DNA test. Right now I was cooking breakfast for everyone with Claryssa. "So are you going with Jay to the appointment?" She asks. "He hasn't asked me to." I shrug. I wasn't bothered by it much. I mean obviously I want to know asap, but this is between him and Ellie.

"Mmmm smells good." Bryce says walking into the kitchen and giving Claryssa a kiss on the cheek. Jaden soon walks in after him. "Morning mamas." He says giving me a kiss. "Are you coming with me today?" He whispers. "Do you want me to?" I ask. "Of course. I mean you're my girl and this affects you too, but it's completely up to you." He says.

I look down and take a few seconds to think if I want to. "I think I'll just stay here. It's between you and Ellie." I say. "Okay. Well I'm leaving now but I'll be home soon." He says. "Okay, bye." I say turning to him to give him a kiss. Then he leaves.

I go back to making breakfast and soon enough all the boys join us. We all eat breakfast and make small talk. When everyone's finished they all split up to do whatever and I go wash the dishes. When I'm done with the dishes I decide to go film a video. It was last minute so I just decided to do a haul video with all my new packages.

After filming I started editing then I hear a knock on my door. I get up to go open it and I see Jaden standing there. I move to the side so he can come in and he goes to sit on the bed. This is the moment I was dreading. The moment that was possibly going to determine the rest of Jaden's life. Part of me knew just from his body language what the answer was.

He sighed and grabbed my hands. He was quiet as he just looked at me with sad eyes. "Jaden just tell me." I say softly. He sniffles a little then speaks up. "It's mine." He says starting to tear up. It broke my heart seeing how badly this affected him. I pulled his head to my chest and played with his hair a little. "Baby, it's okay. You're gonna get through this, and I'm gonna be right here with you." I say.

"It's not okay though." He says. "She's going to try to break us up. She wants me to move in with her so we can be a happy family." He chokes out. I didn't know what to say. I was lost. I didn't know what I could say to help him. So I just sat there listening to him ramble through his tears. After about 20 minutes of Jaden just ranting he eventually fell asleep. I managed to lay back and get comfortable without waking him up.

I laid there playing with his hair just thinking. Thinking about what will happen to our relationship. What if this baby comes and Jaden falls in love with it and decides he wants that happy family. That's not something he can have with me. What if he wakes up one day and decides he wants her and not me.

So many what ifs. After a while my brain got tired of thinking and I ended up falling asleep.

sorry this was a short chapter. it was more of a filler because there's some drama in the next chapter.
