*Jaden's POV*

I stood there, body in shock as everyone followed Griffin's instructions to help Nailea. "Jay, Jay!" Josh yelled shaking me. "Sorry dude." I said trying to snap back to reality. "Pick her up, we're gonna take her upstairs." He said. I nodded and walked over to her and picked her up.

I walked upstairs to my room with Griffin and Josh following. When we reached my room I laid her down on my bed and sat down next to her, stroking her hair. "Okay, so we gave her some water but now she just needs to sleep it off." Griffin said. I nodded and looked down at her sleeping. "Also make sure she stays on her side. She'll probably end up throwing it up, and we don't want her to choke on it." He added. "Okay." I choked out.

I was so heartbroken at what I was seeing. I can't believe I let this happen to her. I was supposed to look after her and keep her out of harms way. Griffin and Josh left my room as I laid there with Nailea.

After about 20 minutes of silence I heard her start coughing. I started to panic as I tried to push her on to her side. As I did I saw blood land on my carpet. This caused more panic to run through my body. "Josh! Griff!" I yelled hoping that they would hear me as I picked her up and carried her to the bathroom. I sat down on the floor with her as she started to wake up. "Hey baby it's okay." I say as she holds her head over the toilet. I sat there holding her hair back and rubbing small circles on her lower back. "Breathe baby, breathe." I whisper. She choked again and spit out a ton of blood.

All of a sudden I hear my door bust open. Griff, Josh and Bryce rushed over to the bathroom. "What do I do?" I choke out tears in my eyes looking up at Griffin. "Just let it pass. She's getting it out of her system." He replies. "Griff it's blood, we have to do something." Bryce says panicked. "Go get her some water. We just need to get fluids into her." He said. Josh runs out of the room and gets her water.

The three of us just sat there calming her as she kept throwing up. Josh came back with the water and I tried my best to help her drink it. After about 20 minutes of her not throwing up, we had decided she most likely got it all out of her system.

Bryce and Griffin left but Josh stayed back to help
me clean the bathroom. "Dude she has blood and vomit all over her. She needs a shower but like I don't wanna yanno like be disrespectful." I say to Josh. "I don't think she would mind but I can get one of the girls if you want." He replied. I nodded as he pulled out his phone and called someone.

A couple minutes later Noelani walks in. "How is she?" She asked. "A little better. She needs a shower though. Do you think you could help her? I don't know if she'd be comfortable with me doing it." I asked her. Noelani nodded and pushed Josh and I out of the bathroom.

As I waited for Noelani to finish I tried to take care of the mess of blood. I rolled up the carpet and put it in the corner and took off the sheets, and put on new ones. I was too tired to cleans them tonight. Right now Nailea was my main focus.

"Umm can you get some clothes for her?" Noelani asks. I get up and go to Nailea's room and grab a sports bra and some underwear for her. Then I go back to my room and get a pair of my sweat shorts and a shirt. I knock on the bathroom door and hand Noelani the clothes.

"Jay come help me get her to bed." Noelani says struggling to pick her up. I walk into the bathroom and pick up Nai, then take her to my bed. "Thank you." I say giving Noelani a side hug as we looked down at the sick girl. "Of course, let me know if you need anything else." She says walking to the door. I nod "Goodnight Lani." I say. "Goodnight." She replies and walks out.

I walk over and lock my door then go to the bathroom and get undressed. I left the bathroom door open so I could hear if Nailea started choking again.

After I finished my shower I went to my closet to get changed. When I was done getting dressed I walked over to the bed and climbed in. As I was starting to get comfortable I heard a small voice. "Bubby?" she whispered. "Hey babygirl." I said turning to face her. "I don't feel good." She says. "I know baby, just go back to sleep okay." I say giving her a kiss on the forehead. She nods and rolls over onto her stomach.

"No baby, you need to sleep on your side." I say turning her. She flops back onto her stomach and groans. "I know you don't want to but you have to." I tell her. She doesn't say anything. Not even a small noise. So I flip her onto her side, grab her waist and pull her closer to me. After arguing with me for a few minutes about her sleeping position, she finally fell asleep. I on the other hand stayed up all night thinking about all the mistakes I've made in the past few hours.

How could I let this happen?
