Chapter 6

(Ava's Pov)

"You already met Kyle and Adi well here's Finn" I smile going in for a hug and I can tell he's surprised by my actions but returns the hug "Nice to meet you Ava" I look at him and smile "Likewise" I take my seat still feeling uncomfortable as if there's a whole inside me that only Nick has the power to fill "We really wanted you to cook for us Ava we're tired of takeaways" Kyle confessed and I laughed "I can cook tommorow and beat you again, what do you say?" the guys stared at us "Wait so you cook and play games" Finn stared in disbelief I laughed. I really enjoyed their company and throughout the evening Nick placed his hand on my thigh this small gesture gave me butterflies....

We went home and I was really tired Nick kissed me goodnight and went to bed. I changed my clothes and went to bed aswell. It's funny how he took my virginity but still sleeps in his room. I checked my phone for messages and saw the usual mom, dad, Leila. It's 11pm and I'm still unable to fall asleep it started raining a hour ago and I decided, screw it I'm going to his room. I opened the door whispering his name but got no reply he was fast asleep I cuddled next to him and he opened his eyes "Hey baby" he opens his arm for me and all I could think about was his thick voice putting my one leg in between his and placing my arm on his chest I fell asleep. (Goooooo prrrrrrr) I close my ears in irretation. He isn't trying to be romantic at all. Why is he snoring like that ahhh!!!!! He looks so cute though what was I doing this is beyond weird my hands travel down to his tattoo under his chest, it's his grandmother's name in Chinese with an infinity sign

Flashback

"Hey Nick I'm really starting to worry about you, you haven't answered my calls or texts in two days call me". Maybe he's just busy Leila tried to comfort me but it didn't make me feel better my phone rang and I was relieved to see Nick's name "Hey whats going on why haven't you answered my calls" the line was quiet, too quiet "My Nan died" his statement was cold no emotions attached to it. I was shocked not knowing what to say his grandmother practically raised him "I'm sorry" I mutter not having the right words to console him. "It's not your fault, listen I have to go" before I could answer he ended the call.

I woke up the next morning and decided to make scons with butter and jam. I got Kyle's number from Nick's phone and invited them over because once again I made too many. Soon Finn Kyle and Adi were entering the dining room I placed the scons in a big plate with apple juice and coffee. "What the fuck guys it's 8am"i look up to see Nick, his hair was messy, eyes still sleepy and voice deep, all of them were silent looking at me to answer so I did. " I invited them over for breakfast. I made too many scons. " He walked up to me "Good morning love" he took a scon from the plate and I giggled. "So gents what are we doing today" he averted his attention to his friends honestly I can't keep up with his moodswings one moment his nice and the other "Well we were hoping Ava could teach us her language" Adi said. I looked at him and started laughing wondering where this came from"What's so funny?" Kyle asked and before I could answer he replied for me "Did you know afrikaans was ranked the sexiest language in the world" I looked at him proud "and we're having a party on Saturday so we really need something to get the girls" Adi said revealing their true motives

"Will you be joining us Saturday?" "no, I'm sorry I promised Kisha I'll meet her family but I'll definitely join you guys at your next party" Nick looked dissapointed "Baaaie daaankie" Adi said slowly and I laughed. I really have grown to like them but Nick got irretated, he said that they're taking all his quality time but I didn't mind.

When they left I washed the dishes and went to go shower when Nick opened it my instinct was to cover my body he smirked and got closer to me he kissed my shoulder and started to wash my back "You are beautiful" he whispered in my ear and for once in my lifetime I believed him.

"How come you don't believe in love" he asks "It's not that I don't believe in love I just believe in loyalty. You could love someone and still hurt them but when you're loyal, you stay with that person no matter what"...
