"Ava, I'm sorry" I tell her and truly mean it "It's okay the photographer asked us to do it. " I was hurt by her words did that kiss mean nothing to her what was I thinking she's in a vulnerable state and loves Nick.Fuck if Nick finds out what I did.... Adi was right. "My friend Leila will be picking me up tommorow" she tells me "I don't want you to go" i blabber without thinking. She looks at me confused "I mean stay till Sunday it's your birthday afterall" I come up with an excuse we ordered our sushi and we were off. I decided to take her to my secret spot it was an abandoned area where I would always go to sit and think it was my safe place. "Where are we? " she asked and I smile and tell her that it's my safe place. I take the sushi. She catches on to what we were about to do and gets out of the car. We ate in silence. "I'm thinking about becoming a teacher " she breaks the silence "I thought you wanted to become a lawyer" I was confused. "I thought I wanted to but that's not true, that's what my parents want, I want to travel the world and to be honest I love children." She became sad and I didn't want to push her to talk to me about anything. "Well I think you will be a great teacher one day" I answer in full honesty. "Thanks Ky" she replied and I felt a tingle in the pit of my stomach. "The sushi is terrible" she adds and I laugh."Well good thing we have leftover Roti's. "

We walk towards the car and headed home when I switched on my phone I saw I had 30 missed calls from Nick. I simply switched it off again. I didn't have the energy for anything and I enjoyed today, it was nice "Wanna watch a movie tonight?" I ask her realizing that she's not going to be here forever and I needed to spend as much time with her as possible "Yeah sure what do you want to watch? "  not making eye contact with me she answers "You can decide" she looks at me with her soft eyes "You can" she says. Why didn't she want to pick a movie I suddenly remember Sarah bitching about wanting Finn to watch a movie with her I think for a moment and It hit me "We're going to watch After" she looks at me surprised. "What?" I ask her "You want to watch after" she laughs "yeah I mean how bad can it be"

We arrived home. She went to go change and made popcorn and a lot of other snacks. She sat beside me. I got us a blanket and she looked uncomfortable I put the blanket over her and play the movie watching it for the first 30 minutes I was BORED. "The book is way better" she comments eyes still on the TV "Yeah how so" I ask I would gladly listen to her then watch the movie "Shhh she says" we stay silent and I watch the movie. you once asked me who I love the most in this world, it's you-hardin Scott "so he made a bet with his friends that he could make her fall in love with him" I ask utterly confused "He made a bet that he could take her virginity, he told his friends everything. " She takes a sip of her wine "That's messed up" I reply "Yeah but there's only one plot twist. He falls in love with her" she throws the blanket over my legs and scoots closer "She didn't deserve that but she forgave him. He's toxic and she's weak" I sit for a moment before realizing she's not talking about Tessa anymore. I put my arm on her shoulder and she doesn't seem to mind "Maybe she shouldn't have forgiven him" I remarked without thinking but it was the truth Nick didn't deserve her. He broke her heart. Its clear as daylight that this girl doesn't love herself enough to realize her worth. She looks at me as if hesitating "Kyle, what do you mean? " she asks fuck it I lean in and kiss her again wanting to feel her soft lips. I couldn't get it out of my mind she climbs on top of me and I feel myself getting harder she stops "This is wrong! I love Nick" frustrated i ask "Why? he doesn't deserve you Ava he slept with Claire" regretting the words she turns around crying running to her bedroom. I took my car keys deciding to go talk to Nick.

"it's so late what do you want" he groans "The deal is off if she still wants to go with her friend tommorow I'm letting her go this is over" he looks at me his body language shows me his not happy about it "What do you mean over, you're going to be throwing her a suprise party the day after tommorow and I'll show up. " I look at him thinking about his absurd idea "That's ridiculous you're not seeing her not on my watch" he looks at me shocked. "I don't remember asking you and why the fuck do you suddenly care about her? " I stay quiet I can't tell him what I did but it doesn't matter she loves him "I'll convince her to stay but I'm not throwing her a party I'll persuade her to go back to you" he looked satisfied with my answer and I left.....
