Ava's POV

WHY MEN GREAT TILL THEY GOTTA BE GREAT WHOOOOOO I JUST TOOK A DNA TEST TURNS OUT I'M A HUNDRED PERCENT THAT BITCH EVEN WHEN I'M CRYING CRAZY YEAH I GOT BOY PROBLEMS THAT'S THE HUMAN IN ME BING BANG THAN I SOLVE THEM THAT'S THE GODDESS IN ME
I sing and Kisha joins. I was embracing all my emotions. I was only weary my underwear with the hoodie crop top I had on. I wasn't planning on looking like this on a Sunday morning but oh well.My mascara smudged from all the crying but I didn't care. "Go take a shower. " Kisha hands me the towel and a pair of her clothes. "Thanks" I reply heading to the shower "Hurry up, cause we'll be doing your hair today" I squeel in excitement and quickly went to go shower. When I got out I felt much better. We cooked and when we were done we went to the salon. "Your hair is beautiful Ava you should wear it just like that" I stare at my natural curls and I didn't realize how much I've missed them. I didn't have energy so I decided on wearing and rocking it. "Thanks Kisha. " my phone vibrated and I picked it up
"Hey Ava, it's Kyle" I freezed "Look I don't know where you are and I'm worried about you. Come stay with me" why would he want me to stay there? Why does he suddenly care he continued "Nick won't know a thing, you can stay here until you figured something out" I wage my options and realized that I can't stay with Kisha this whole vacation. Leila will be here in a matter of 2 days then we would be staying together."Yeah okay I'll send you my location" I put down the phone and texted my address before he could say anything "Who was that" Kisha looked at me awaiting an answer "It's Kyle Nick's friend he offered me to stay with him till I figure out what's my next move" judging by her facial expression I could tell she also found it suspicious. "Okay gal but you know you can call me if you need me" I smile and gave her a hug "Thanks".

(Kyle's Pov)

"Okay she agreed to this" I tell Nick who looked terrible. "I want nothing to do with your bullshit man, you fucked up" I tell him and I mean it. "You said it's her birthday in 3 days, I'll text you what and where I will take her and you can meet me there and try to talk to her" he stays silent still staring at the wall "Thanks" he whispers. "Ayyt cool I'll see you" I take my keys and go to the driveway, Ava already texted me her location and I was off. When I arrived there
She came out of the house. She looked different, pure and authentic I never really payed attention to her features. Nick was right she was beautiful, but so much more defined her, than just that word. "Hey" she says while opening the door and climbing in "Hey" I reply she turned to me and I noticed the bags under her eyes and her red nose and cheeks and I started doubting this whole plan, by staying with me she's trusting me. I just hope this ends well. "Is Nick at his house?"she's fiddling with her hands not making eye contact" I think so I'm not sure why? "I ask. Was she planning on forgiving him, it was a simple mistake. "I need clothes "she whispers. My eyes travel down to what she's wearing and I chuckle. The clothes she had on was way to big for her figure hiding her curves "Of course you do, I'll go fetch it tonight" she looks at me  "thanks. " This girl was very delicate, soft and naive. "We need to go to the grocery store because I invited you only because I enjoy your cooking" she smiles and I instantly feel better. I hate seeing her like this. In the couple of days I've known her, I've always seen her smile "We need to go to the liquor store" she snorts and I laugh. The atmosphere shifted she touched my hand and I froze "Thanks Kyle" this small gesture gave me shivers, this is wrong. "It's my pleasure Ava" we went to the grocery store and she got her wine we chatted about what she was going to do when she goes back. She was shocked to hear that im a 3rd year medical student. We arrived at my apartment and I instantly felt self conscious. I should've cleaned up before picking her up. She sensed my awkwardness and chuckled "You can show me to my room now"she tells me. "of course" I walk with her to her room and she gives me a hug. "Thanks again" I didn't embrace her because I felt like a piece of shit "I'm going to fetch your clothes." She smiles her eyes became watery. "Thanks I'll only be staying for 2 days" she turns around and went to go sit on the bed. I didn't want to ask questions so I just went to go fetch her clothes

"How is she" Nick asks me desperation in his voice he hasn't been sleeping "She's fine man I just came to fetch her clothes " I went upstairs and he followed "Why would you do that she's coming back!" he yelled "Yeah but until then she needs fucking clothes" I just about had it with him he needs my help "She's only staying for 2 days" I add he looks at me confused "Nah that's not going to happen and you'll make sure of it" he really started to piss me off "I'm not forcing her to stay with me this is your bullshit clean it up" I yell back I was really mad at him, not just because he dragged me into this mess but because he broke her heart and she didn't deserve that. I took her bag and got out of the house deciding that I needed some advice. I went to Adi and told him everything

"Don't do it" he says I don't know if that's what I wanted to hear him say. "Why?" I ask truly confused "I saw the way you looked at her the first time she came down those stairs and why you've been so distant with Nick, you like her tell Nick you won't help him and ask her to leave" I sit there thinking about what he just said "I don't like her and she's only staying for 2 days" he looks at me "Okay bro that's just my opinion just don't do anything stupid. " I don't know what he meant by that but I didn't reply "I need to go she's waiting for me" I walk to the door "Cheers ". The drive was short. When I opened my door it smelled really devining when I went to the kitchen I saw her standing next to the stove "Hey" she greets me eyes still on the food."Hey" I reply and walk over to the pot "What you cooking" I ask because it looked delicious "Roti's" she smiled "thanks for getting my clothes. I'll go change and then dish up for us" I gave her the bag and she went upstairs was what Adi said true I can't like her I've only known her for a couple of days and Nick's my best friend. Whatever I'm feeling should end real quick. She dished up for us and we had wine we talked for hours and I really enjoyed her company it was refreshing. "So why don't we throw you a party for your birthday" I instantly regret it because her smile faded. "I'm not really in a party mood" she says and I respect that. "Cool but I'm taking you out though, even if it's just the two of us. " she looked at me and smiled "Thanks for being my friend, I'm going to bed. " something about that sentenced turned me off but I wasn't bothered to look into it "Good night Ava".

I woke up at 6am I couldn't sleep so I decided to make us coffee. I walk up to her door and knock "You can come in" I hear her yell and open the door. Her bed was already made and she was sitting next to the window staring at the view. "It's astounding" she whispers and I nod. We sit in silence. "Hey I've been craving sushi for a while now let's go grab some?" I ask trying to sound cool "On one condition" she looks at me "And that is?" I ask afraid of what the condition is "You pick out my clothes, I'm too lazy" she smiles and I'm relieved "Oh sure" I pick up her bag and scan through her clothes "no way" I take out her nike outfit "I have the exact same outfit" I tell her suddenly excited "You have great taste mr Kyle" I look at her. She probably finds this hilarious "okay I'm also going to where mine" she took her clothes and went to shower. I wait for her to finish when I hopped in and went to change. When I was finished she sat in the living room on her phone "Shall we leave" she looks at me and my heart melted "Yes we shall" we left and arrived at the restaurant. "Hey Kyle, it's such an honor to meet you man" I turn around to see a guy with a camera "And this fine lady must be your girlfriend" not correcting him about Ava I ask "Have we met before" he laughs "No we haven't but I've seen your videos. I'm tiktok famous, a photographer" Ava looks at him and smile clearly she recognised him. "Oh I love your work I follow you on tiktok" the man smiled "Can I perhaps take pictures of you guys? That would make my day. " I look over at Ava who looked excited "Please Kyle" she grabs my arm and I couldnt think straight "Why not" the man claimed to be a fan of mine but he was focusing on Ava this whole time asking her to sit down, smile, walk I thought he wanted pictures of us together. "Okay Kyle grab Ava's hand" I look at him and I look at her asking her permission she nods and I take her hand "Wonderful now give her a hug" she doesn't seem to mind because she rests her head on my chest he takes a couple of photos "Now I want you to slowly grab onto her face and lean in" her eyes widen and I pull away "It's okay" I hear her whisper and I grab her face her eyes were closed and I looked at her. She had freckles that I never noticed before. She was truly a work of art. Without hesitating I put my lips on hers closing my eyes she doesn't stop me so I deepend the kiss she grabbed my neck closing the distance between us "That's perfect thank you guys" she takes a step back eyes watery again. "I'll wait for you inside" she says and rushes towards the door "Here's my number send the pictures to me and I'll tell you which one's to post okay, thanks man" he looked confused "You really are lucky" he went off. I wasn't sure what he meant by that but I went into the restaurant.
