Hey its Finn, Sarah wanted to meet you so you and Nick should come over it'll be fun
I sit and think about Nick's group of friends Kyle was his best friend but he didn't really try to bond with me but he was nice Adi looked like the mature one out of them all and Finn looked like the goofy type. Hey thanks for the invite we would love to come. I reply really grateful for the invitation when my phone started ringing "Hey mom" I answer. "Hey sweety how are you, we miss you" I smile suddenly becoming sad because I really missed them next week would be my first birthday without them. "I'm good ma Ek mis julle ook"(I miss you too). "What are you doing and tell me how is this boy you were so excited to meet" I stay silent thinking about everything that has happened these couple of days "His amazing ma, everything I've wanted" I try to convince myself more than her "Well just remember love can wake up one morning and leave you, your career won't" I sigh knowing where this conversation is heading "I'm coming home in three weeks time ma I promise"... "I know you will, I love you" I turn around and see Nick standing by the stairs "Love you too ma got to go bye" for a moment I just stare at him, how much of the conversation did he hear. I'm not in the mood to fight with him, well at least not now. "You didn't come to bed last night" he says as if expecting an explanation. "Finn and Sarah invited us over it would be refreshing" I tell him not even bothering to answer him "I love you" he says out of the blue and I look at him trying to figure out if this is his way of apologizing "I'm going to jog, I made oats with cinnamon" I casually state before going out.

"Every teenager drinks how come you don't" I ask delighted that everything was back to normal "So you know my parents are never around. I held parties and I would drink and smoke every night waking up with a hangover alone in the house. To be honest it was an escape from all my problems. But I became someone I didn't want to be. I pushed everyone away including my grandmother. I decided that since her death that I wouldn't drink or smoke again"

"Hey baby I'm back" I announced my presence he looked over at me "Are we gonna talk about it" he asks very calm and I decided that now would be the perfect timing
"Do I make you happy Ava" I was shocked by this question "of course you do" I assure him but he didn't look convinced "I made you cry" he was hurt, that I could tell , maybe I approached the situation wrong i went to go sit in front of him "Baby you made me cry but you also made me laugh and gave me confidence countless times, don't ever question your abilities " before I finished he pulled me in for a hug. "You should go shower" he says and I laugh I look at him truly mesmerized. "Come shower with me"....

"I don't like Sarah" Nick complains as we get in the car "I'm tolerating her cause Finn's my homie " I can't believe him. "Nick stop it" I say sternly because we are about to spend some time with her and he needs to behave "You didn't say that this morning tho" I punch his arm and he pretends to be hurt the drive was short and he took my hand to go knock on their door.A beautiful brunette with red lips opened it her smile could light up the world "Hey I'm Sarah it's so nice to meet you" I smile. "I'm Ava and the pleasure is all mine" before I could she gives me a hug "We brought wine" I state because she was about to hug the air out of my lungs "You shouldn't have, please come in" we walk inside and their home looked lovely "Sarah" I hear Nick say she looked at him her smile dissappearing "Nick" she answers I laugh at how ridiculous they looked. When I saw Finn entering the living room. "Hey I'm glad you could make it welcome to our home" he says politely "Home wait you guys live together? " I ask truly shocked "We're engaged" Sarah squeels her smile returning "Wow congratulations" I say truly happy for them she blushed. "So is there anything I can help with? " I ask and she looks at me "not actually but let's go pour ourselves some wine" we went into their well decorated kitchen and she got the two glasses "Can I ask you something Sarah" she looked worried but I didn't know why so I decided to continue "How did you know Finn was the one I mean both of you are so young" her expression softened she almost looked relieved "Well Ava I love him more than I love myself, I want to wake up next to him every morning and be there through the ups and downs life throws at him" I look at her admiring her love for him "I love you too babe" Finn grabs her from behind and she giggles they really are the ideal couple. I helped her serve dinner and we ate. I really liked Sarah we talked about literally everything from careers to hair styles. "It was really nice meeting you Sarah" I tell her honestly, I really enjoyed her company "Good bye Finn next time you guys should come over" I say and we went to the car I waited till we left their house.
