"What are you...." I take a few steps back shocked at the scene in front of me. I was standing in the hall so everyone saw me. He released her from his grip "Babe nah I didn't don't"... I take another step back"Claire? Ho... How long why? " I choke on my words she smirked "Well he needed somebody to keep him company" my breathing increased and my eyes became watery."How could you do this to me, to us was I.... Was I not enough for you" I see Kyle, Adi and Finn stepping closer "Clearly not" claire states. "Would you shut the fuck up Claire nobody wants you!" I hear him yell . I felt numb, wanting to escape I turn around when I saw Sarah looking at me with pity in her eyes "You knew??" I whisper "all of you did" Adi and Finn couldn't face me but Kyle did. "I wanted to tell you but you were so happy. He said he loves you I thought he changed" I didn't know what to say I felt betrayed not only by Nick. "Baby look at me she's nothing to me I love you only you LOOK AT ME" a tsunami in my eyes and a volcano eruption in my heart. I ran as fast as I could dailing the only number I knew.
"Can you please come pick me up" I cry into the phone "Send me your live location girl" I do as I'm told and make another call "You were right, I made the biggest mistake of my life coming here he.... Im so naive he.. " I sob unable to say the words. "He did what?" the familiar voice asked confused at my behavior "He cheated on me Leila" she was silent "Come home Ava" she calmly answered "I can't my flight is thousands of dollars and I didn't bring enough money. He assured me that his paying for this whole trip" as I utter the words I realize how stupid I was. "The next flight is in two days I'm coming to you " I sit in the middle of nowhere truly appreciating my best friend she could've thrown this in my face but she didn't. "I'm bringing your card with me ill get us a hotel room,where are you?"she questioned. I look at my surroundings. "I don't know a friend is picking me up, I'll stay the night with her and make a plan". To be honest I didn't know what I was going to do and I didn't even care. I just wanted to dissappear. I was a fool,stupid ! "Get in!" I hear Kisha yell and I follow her order she doesn't start the car and I assume she expected an explanation "He....he kissed another girl" she finally starts the car and drives off she didn't say a word and that scared me she made a stop at McDonald's and ordered food a lot of it. I stayed quiet. When we arrived at her house we got out and she showed me to her room, grabbed a bottle of wine and closed her door. "You look terrible" she states in all honesty and I laughed my make up probably smudged and my eyes were red as can be. "Thanks Kisha" I say softly "For what? Insulting you? " I chuckle. "Nah for being there for me. " She pours us wine and gives me a glass "There's more in the fridge for tommorow I got a feeling you might need it. " I take off the hat and place it on the cupboard. "What I need is a new hairstyle" I state and she looks at me "Yeah you do" we drink our wine "So what exactly happened?" I pour myself another glass mentally preparing myself to tell her everything and I did.
