"Um, miss? You can't leave. Your-"

"Watch me," I say angrily, stomping out of the hospital. The only reason I'm here is because of this stupid cut! I walk to the bus stop, getting weird looks from people along the street. What!? Never seen an angry girl with a cut on her head get on the bus before?! I think. As the bus pulls up, I realize that I don't have any money. Great! Now I have to go back to the hospital and borrow some cash from Tessa!

I storm back to the hospital, wondering how I could be so stupid as to forget all my things at the hospital. I stomp back inside, only to see Jack being escorted out. What is he doing here? I think in disgust. Then I remember calling him in a fit of anger to get revenge on Tessa for being so weird about Peter. Why was she being so weird about Peter? I walk over to him.

"Why are you here?" I ask angrily. I didn't think he would come. He looks angry, like, really angry. What in the world did Tessa say to him?

He glares at me. "Thanks for the heads up, Emma. Now I know that my girlfriend is cheating on me!" WHAT?!

"What are you talking about? Tessa would never do something like that."

"Oh really? Well, I guess Peter Parker didn't get the memo, because he and Tessa were up there practically making out!"

"WHAT?!" I run to the elevator, ignoring Jack as he calls after me. How could she not tell me? She barely knows him! Was this what they were talking about when I walked in on them? I can't believe that she would do something like this. Is she doing it for revenge, or because she actually likes him? The elevator stops and I walk out. Why? Why is she doing this? Jack could destroy her life! What is she thinking?

I shove open the door to room 312. "Tessa, what were you thinking?" I yell. I see her look up from the t.v.

"What are you talking about?" Tessa asks.

"Don't lie to me! Why would you do something so stupid?"

"I could ask you the same thing. Why would you call Jack?" Oh. Yeah. That.

"Because he's your boyfriend!"

"Yeah, my boyfriend that you hate!" Tessa is getting pretty angry.

"That doesn't mean that you can cheat on him!" She's silent. I can tell that she's shocked. "I bet you thought that you could get away with it, huh? But I have it all figured out. I just don't know why! Why would you do that? It broke your heart when Jack cheated on you! Why would you do it to him? You've never been this vindictive or rude before. Why are you starting now?"

"Emma, stop." Does she think she can get me off her back that easily?

"No!"

"Emma, I'm not cheating on Jack. Who told you that?"

"Ummmm..."

"Emma? Who told you?"

"Jack?"

"Seriously? You would believe Jack? Since when?" She's laughing. Well, at least she's not mad. But now I feel stupid. Whatever. I bet I'm just hungry.

"Okay, I'm about to die of hunger, so could we go get curly fries? I'm really craving some right now. Oooo, and Sprite!" I ask putting a hand on my stomach. Tessa laughs, nodding. She grabs her wallet and heads for the door.
