"Start of my new school." I think to myself while standing outside of Beacon High with my bag in my hand. I look around the school until I feel a presence next to me. I glance to my side and see Theo standing there.
"You know you got this right?" I say as he places his hand in between my open one. He squeezes my hand for reassurance. I smile and look back at the school.
"Yeah it just still feels weird." I sigh and take a deep breath before unlacing our hands together and begin my walk into school. I hear Theo sigh behind me and walk with me.
"There won't be any more giant werewolves holding a decapitated head roaming around the halls right?" I ask Theo but I still grimace at the thought of that happening last night. I don't mind ripping someone's throat out but a decapitated head was something totally different.
Theo chuckles, "No there's not gonna be any of that." I sigh in relief as we reach the halls of Beacon High. I look around to see teens all mingling around with each other.
"Well I have to get to the office and get my stuff so I'll see you later?" I ask and he nods his head. I smile at him before walking away to the office. I turn down a couple of hallways before reaching the office and walking in.
"Hello, um I need to get my schedule please," I say politely to the woman sitting behind the counter. She glances up and smiles, I flash a smile back.
"What's the name?" She questions as she starts going through folders.
"Haley Anderson," I say and I see her nod her head in response. She reaches for a file and I conclude that it's mine. She brings out a piece of paper and gives it to me as I smile at her.
"Schedule, locker number, and locker combination should all be on that paper." She says and I quickly scan the paper making sure everything is there.
"Okay thank you," I say smiling at the lady and leaving the office. I check and see my first class is Chemistry. I start to walk and try to find the class by checking the room numbers. I finally stumble upon it and open the door. I'm met with over 20 pairs of eyes and it makes me feel uncomfortable. I glance throughout the room hoping to see Liam.
"You're Haley aren't you?" The teacher asks me and looks at me. I turn my attention to her and smile and nod my head yes.
"Well there's a free seat next to Theo in the back go take a seat." I looked over to where she was pointing and I saw him sitting there with a big grin on his face. I shake my head and make my way over to the seat. I put my bag down and hop in the seat knowing Theo was burning a hole in my head with his stare.
"Need something?" I whisper, smirking at him as I take out a notebook and a pen.
"Nope just admiring my new lab partner." He whispers back to me and I scoff. I focus on the teacher explaining about cells and DNA.
