Hero and I are woken by the sound of my alarm, quite early. Today is the day that we were originally supposed to come out to the world as a couple. Originally, Hero had six months to find Noah and get him incarcerated but instead, Noah found us, and the media found me. Realistically, Hero and I went into the light of the cameras and tried to cover me up but that didn't work out well, so Noah was able to find me which led us to luring him in and burning down our kitchen/living room but now we are here. We wake up and the world around us knows about our relationship so the only surprise I have for the world is my dress and I need tonight to go well. It has to go well.

A team of makeup artists and hair stylists come for both Hero and I; both of us having our own squad. Vera has sent a team to help with the dress and one for Hero's suit. Hero is getting ready in a separate hotel room from me, so that I can surprise him with this dress. Vera started with one idea for this dress and finished with a different one; a lot of work went into my dress and I can't wait to thank her on live television. We only got into Miami late last night and had to wake up very early this morning, so the bags under my eyes are dark. The makeup artist starts with my makeup, making sure the look she gives me is natural so that I don't look like a monkey. With one last wave of blush on my face and a spray to keep the makeup from smudging, she's finished my makeup which took an hour. The hair stylist jumps in now, and she starts by curling my hair, then brushing it out so that it is wavy and pins half my hair up into a braid headband. My hair takes about an hour and a half and now, it is time for the dress. A woman helps me into the white dress, Once I have the dress on, she and another woman help tie the corset. They tug and pull at the corset; the while square/sweetheart neckline has a tight top that shows my chest, holding my boobs together while the rest of my stomach before my bellybutton is shown through a white mesh. Underneath the skirt, is a visible, white bottom covering and the skirt is an ombre from white to black and a slit coming all the way up to my waistline. Along the slit of the dress is black butterflies until it hits complete black of the ombre. Once the dress is on, tightened and set, they help me with a simple pair of black open-toed heels and choosing jewellery.

Looking myself in the mirror, at the dress that they've designed for me and fits me so perfectly; supporting all that my body has to offer yet also covering up all the areas of myself that make me self-conscious. The spaghetti straps obviously are too skinny to cover up my arms, but I am feeling somewhat better about my arms because of the little weight that I've gained throughout these months. I feel beautiful in this dress and in my own skin; I haven't felt this way for far too long.

There is a knock on the hotel door, and from the other side, Hero says; "I have something I want to give you baby." I've chosen to forget the events that took place two days ago; Hero only meant well, and it would have gone well if I didn't choose to go out in public without him or a bodyguard, but I slightly blame Mara for that. I go up to the door and say to Hero that he can't see me. "I promise to keep my eyes closed. Just open the door." I trust that he will keep his eyes closed, so I slowly open the door and look through the small crack to see that his eyes are surely closed. When the door opens wider, I take a step out. I take Hero's hand in mine so that he knows I'm there with him. "Give me your face," he says with a smile on his own. I laugh at his choice of words but at the same time, I find them absolutely adorable. I bring my face to Hero's and our lips smack against one another's; I move my tongue around the inside of his mouth and remember that I'm wearing makeup and even though they sprayed stuff on my face to keep it from smudging, I have a feeling that it will not work with making out. I pull my face from his and Hero keeps my hand in his. I blink quickly and Hero is now on one knee; there is no way this is happening! He said he didn't want to marry, ever! "Hero, what are you—" He stops me before I can say anything, and throughout all this, his eyes remain closed. "I know I told you it would never happen, but I didn't want you to ever expect it when it did happen." He reaches into his pocket; and he looks extremely handsome in his all black suit with white paint splatter with a black dress shirt and a silver chain around his neck. Vera Wang did a great job with matching our looks. Hero opens the box and inside is a beautiful white gold band with a oval shaped diamond—probably about 1.5 carats and he continues his speech; "I know it's only been eight months but if I have to wait another minute without knowing that I'm marrying you then I might go mad." He pauses before he says the words and I can hear him taking a deep breath, "Marry me Madden Fitz?" Tears fall down my eyes and I can only hope that the makeup does not get ruined. I shake my head up and down and realize that Hero can't actually see me and then manage to get a yes from my mouth. Hero lifts to his feet, pulling the ring from the box and sliding it down my finger. If we weren't going out in ten minutes, I'd jump his bones. I wrap my arms around Hero, carefully as to not wrinkle his suit and to avoid getting any tears on him.

Hero leaves me with a kiss and heads down to the hotel lobby to get in his limo. We decided to take separate limos so that he can get a few photos in before with some of the cast from his movie and I didn't want to be there for that. 10 minutes after Hero left, I leave for the lobby with Luke as my bodyguard. The entire drive to the gala, I'm starring at the beautiful ring on my left hand and I am imaging my wedding. I am walking down the aisle in a very dramatic, yet elegant wedding dress and Hero stands at the front of the aisle, in front of all his friends and family. Peonies and greenery wraps an arch above him, DJ being our minister andMy thoughts are hindered by Luke shouting at me that we have arrived. We've parked in front of a red carpet and I assume they are waiting for Hero to come to the limo because we wait at least five minutes before I'm given the word that it's time. I've been waiting for this moment since Hero even mentioned the MET gala; I used to watch this on television every year and I loved seeing all the fancy dresses but especially adored the couples getting interviewed because I strived to be in a relationship like that. When I met Noah, the MET gala was only an unrealistic life dream and I thought I'd never ever have a relationship like those ones, but here I am and here Hero is, opening the limo door for me.

I step out of the limo, Hero holding my hand to help steady my balance as I stand. His eyes say everything when I look into his face, but he chooses to use his words as well. "My fiancé is absolutely stunning," he whispers into my ear and kisses my cheek. "Are you ready?" He asks before we start the walk of the red carpet.
