Chapter 11 - Old Friends

Applejack awoke to the sun shining through her window once again. She hadn't known about the events of the night before for she was asleep when Rainbow fell asleep and woke again. Suddenly a smell hit her that was coming from the kitchen and wow, did it smell great. She slowly climbed out of bed, cautious not to fall over. She grabbed the stetson she usually wore and walked into the kitchen sitting down at the table. She hadn't noticed the Rainbow haired girl behind her yet. Rainbow noticed this so quietly, she approached the girl. 
"BOOO!!!"
Applejack fell off her chair and her stetson fell over her face. Rainbow Dash couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Hey!!!" Applejack shouted as Rainbow lifted her hat off her face and placed it on her own head. "Give me back my stetson!" She shouted in an annoyed yet playful tone. Rainbow Dash took advantage of this and started running around the room in circles with the princess chasing after her. She managed to catch the girl and took the stetson off her head. Rainbow Dash looked behind Applejack then gave her a devious smirk. She pushed her onto the couch with Rainbow lying on top of her. Applejack couldn't help but blush.
"I..I-" Applejack was shut up with a pair of lips against her own. She felt the sparks between them as she decided to take the lead and deepen the kiss. As she did this she wrapped her arm around her waist while Rainbow's hands were cupping her face. They moved in time with each other and they never wanted it to end. Applejack quickly stopped the kiss and said, "Is something burning?"
Rainbow's eyes widened. "Oh no!!!" She shouted as she quickly got off of the girl underneath her. 

A couple of minutes later Rainbow served the slightly overcooked breakfast.
"Sorry, its a bit...well...burnt."
Applejack just laughed it off and ate her food. They were in silence since they were too busy eating their food. That's when they heard a knock at the door. Rainbow Dash quickly got up and walked outside to talk to whoever it was. Applejack wondered what it was about but she thought it would be better to not be so nosey. A couple of minutes later, she walked back in and sat down at the table once again. 
"Oh.. by the way I have a surprise for you after this so eat up! Meet me outside in 15" Rainbow Dash said with a mouth full of food. Now, Applejack was curious so she quickly ate her food and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. She slipped on another outfit Rainbow had lent her (and the stetson of course) and headed out the front door to meet her again.

Applejack gave Rainbow Dash a small smile as she walked over. "So what's this surprise you have for me?" She asked curiously. 
"Follow me," Rainbow said as she grabbed Applejack's hand and lead her to where the surprise was. They walked through the center of the village and whenever they passed someone they smiled and waved. Rainbow Dash had to be polite to them since she was the leader. a few moments later they had arrived into a big building. Applejack had no idea what it was but she was lead through the front door and went in all sorts of directions before they were in front of a door. Applejack gave her a confused look but Rainbow only smiled back.
"Trust me, you going to love it. Go on, open it!"
Applejack slowly opened the door and to her surprise, she saw two girls standing in the room. They both had their backs turned but realized who they were immediately. 
"Pinkie Pie! Rarity!" The two girls turned around and smiled at their friend. The princess ran up to the two girls and gave them a huge hug. "I'm so glad you girls were ok, what happened?"
"Well when we took refuge in that cave and woke up to find you had disappeared, we looked around for clues to see where you had gone." Rarity exclaimed. 
"It was pretty simple, to be honest." Pinkie Pie interrupted. " We had just found footprints into this village and my Pinkie sense could tell you were here." Applejack looked at her with a confused expression. "Pinkie sense?"
"That is a story for another time" Rarity spoke up before Pinkie could say anything. she laughed nervously as she didn't want the pink-haired girl to start babbling on again. "What happened to you after that night?"
"Well," Applejack started off. "At first, I was captured but that was because I was seen as a threat. Once they knew my story I got to look around the village and meet new people," She looked at Rainbow Dash, nodding her head for her to come forward.
"My name's Rainbow Dash, leader of the pegasi."
"Wait a minute..... So are you two a thing?!" Pinkie Pie blurted out.  Both girls had their gaze to the floor, blushing.
"N-no! Well... At least not yet." Rainbow Dash replied. The other two girls giggled at the response. They continued on with their conversation for about ten more minutes before they decided to go somewhere else.
" Do you want to get some sweet treats? I know a great bakery down the street." Rainbow Dash asked. Pinkie Pie couldn't help but squeal in excitement. "Ooooo yay!!". The girls laughed as they all headed out of the room. On the way out without noticing, Applejacks stetson fell off her head. "Hey Applejack, your stetson," Rainbow shouted. All three girls turned around but the other two girls looked shocked. "Your name's Applejack? As in THE Princess Applejack?!"
"Oh no..." Applejack whispered under her breath as she hid her face under her stetson.
