Recap of the ending of the last chapter:
SHAI
I moved away to avoid Majesty and get over it. I moved to Chicago with a cousin of mine. I met a guy and got proposed to, but I said no and he broke up with me. I packed my life up and moved back here to California two weeks ago. Jessica kept in touch with me and we actually got to know each other and learn to care for each other. She was there for me everyday of my heartbreak because I was so depressed. Her and Ant even forced me to allow them to help me. They paid for everything including moving my stuff, my flight back here, and even sending my car here. Jessica has also been helping me plan my house warming even though I don't really have anyone to come. She really has filled the void of not having a real mother in my life and I love her for that.
I didn't know if I would bump into Majesty or how I would feel if I did. Now, I'm standing here wondering if I made the wrong choice by not giving him another chance. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something seems so different about him. He looks healthy, he's much more muscular than he used to be, and he's added more tattoos to his arms. He's more handsome than ever. One of the most obvious differences is the way he's dressed. He was wearing a simple Adidas T-shirt, a pair of jeans that weren't designer, and some shoes to match his shirt. He doesn't even have on his flashy jewelry at all. Like I said, something is very different. I guess a year really does change people a lot.
"Wassup Shai?" I hear LaLa ask as Sean carries her on her back. I'm so excited to see them. They used to try me, but I realized how much they really mean to me when both of them were shot and almost lost their lives so young. "Hey! How are you guys?" I ask. "I'm good." Sean answers. "Me too." LaLa answers. "It's good to see you two." I admit as I hug them both.
I stood around kind of talking to whoever talked to me for a while. I have to use the restroom now. I know I'm welcome in their house, so I don't have to ask to use the restroom like I used to. I just walked in the house. I have no clue where a restroom is, but I do remember one being up one of the flights of stairs.
I hear Jessica talking to some extremely proper woman, but I'm not trying to be nosey. I can hear in Jessica's tone she's trying to be nice but isn't impressed, but I don't know what the conversation is about. I'm going to just stay out of this and do what I was supposed to be doing.
I just found one of the restrooms down the hall. "Fuck." Majesty curses as we bump into each other. He was walking out as I tried to open the door. We're so close to each other, I'm sure he can hear my heart beating fast. I'm so nervous. He's staring into my eyes with a scowl on his face. "I... I wasn't following you. I was, um... I just have to pee." I mumble as he continues with his stare down. He's always been so intimidating.
He looks at my neck. "You still wear it." He acknowledges. I look away from him as he stares at my neck. When he was still pretending to not want me, he bought me a necklace at Swarovski in Las Vegas. It's something I cherished so much even after the breakup. It still means a lot to me, so I still wear it. I didn't even wear it for a reaction because I didn't expect him to be close enough to me to notice it.
"That's wassup." He nonchalantly says, trying to walk away. I wrap my arms around him for a hug. "Majesty, wait." I mumble. I tried to hold it together, but the tears are flowing. I was fine until we saw each other. I tried to get over him, but truth is I never did. I just kept going with my life. Now that I'm near him, I feel like I'm literally craving him.
He's just standing here tensed up as I hug him tightly. He's not hugging me back, but he's turned on because I feel his strong erection pressed up against me. "Hug me back." I cry as he acts like he doesn't want to. He wraps his arms around me. We've been holding each other in silence for a couple of minutes. I'm just taking it all in. I missed his scent, his strong arms, and everything about him.
