Also, pray for my family y'all. My little cousin was killed last week, unfortunately. But yeah.
If you asked for my registry on Amazon, just go on it and search Eris. Let me know if you can't find it.
"Close yo eyes, shawty, gone make a wish. You never met a nigga like this. And we can get it on. I know the pain and all the shit you been through. I just wanna see your dreams come true." - Yo Gotti
SHAI
"Majesty, tell me where we're going, please." I beg him for the millionth time. I couldn't believe he asked me to go on a trip with him the other day. We're leaving tonight but he won't tell me where he's taking me. "We going somewhere you never been before. That's all you need to know." He answers, laughing a little while he continues to drive. I don't even know where we're even going right now neither, actually.
"I haven't been to a lot of places. So, that's not a good hint." I remind him. I didn't grow up traveling a lot and I've only been places Drew has taken me which isn't many and to Las Vegas with Majesty. "I can't tell you, Shai. It'll fuck up the plan." He says, laughing. "No it won't. Are we going out of the country?" I ask. "Not at all but we can if you want to. I know you said it's a lot of shit you never did in America so I wanted to show you some shit." He says.
I nod my head. "Hmm... Memphis?" I ask. He looks at me funny. "Why you wanna go to that garbage ass city so bad?" He asks. "Because you lived there once upon a time and I just want to see what it's like. I also heard Elvis Presley's home is there and I want to check that out and get some barbecue." I explain. "Shai, most people that live there ain't ever went to no damn Graceland before. And as far as the barbecue goes, it ain't shit worth taking no trip there for." He says. "Well, you asked where I wanted to go." I mumble.
"Oh, shit. You dead ass want to go to Memphis, Shai? Like, you not saying it just to say it?" He asks. "I'm so serious but of course, I'm going wherever you are. I just want to be with you." I answer. He pulls his phone out of his pocket. "We going to Memphis then. We still going where I told you I'm taking you to but we can stay a day in Memphis then dip." He says. "No, don't change up the plan." I say. "Too late." He says.
"I didn't know we were gonna visit your parents." I say as we ride down the long street leading to his family's home. "Yeah... I was serious the other day when I said I'm taking a loan from them to start a business then paying them back. I need to talk to my mom and dad about it real quick." He answers. We haven't talked anymore about him asking me to quit my job and to let him take care of me since the other day when he said it. I'm too afraid to bring up that topic because I feel like he's gonna pretend like he doesn't care and like he never ever said that to me.
"I didn't know your dad got out of the hospital." I say. "Yeah but he in some serious pain from his accident. They let him go home yesterday. Apparently, my momma been on some Diary of a Mad Black Woman ass shit." He says, laughing a little. "What? Why?" I ask. "He had a girlfriend during they lil ups and downs but they fucked at the baby shower which got her feeling played. His lil accident happened leaving the bitch house and the bitch came to the hospital when my momma was there. So, my dad told me that she been torturing his ass since he came home cause he be in too much pain to even do certain shit." He explains.
That's so funny to me. "Your mom is wild. Can you imagine me being like her? Like, she's so tough." I admit. I wish I was a little stronger like she is. People know she means business when she steps into a room. I've only seen her appear to be weaker when she's in the presence of one of her children or with Ant depending on what they're doing.
