(flashback)

Probably one of the saddest part of the semester break, I have to go back to Korea. Not that I don't miss my Mom, I'll just miss the nosiness of Kio and Dad's omelette.

"KRYS! GET UP!" Kio looked exhausted. I was flustered, since I just woke up.

"Why the rush?! I will, let me take a bath first."

"Do your stuff later. Caden's waiting for you."

"Oh, it's just Ca-- wait. The Caden that we talked to last night and the one I have been dating?!" He nodded viciously. We were just talking to him through the phone.

"Quick! Make yourself presentable before Dad wakes up and interrogates him. We can't get caught!" He was literally pushing me towards my vanity. I was assisted by my adrenaline so I got done after a couple of minutes.

When we went down, I saw him sitting on our brown cushion sofa. When he heard my footsteps against our wooden staircase, he suddenly gazes towards my direction. If this happened on the right time and place, I would've smiled... but it is definitely NOT.

If people would expect, I would go run towards the guy and hugged him. What happened was the opposite, something, I know, he didn't anticipate.

"What on Earth brings you here?" I asked, eyebrows furrowed. He smiled. God. He looks so perfect.

"Good morning too, Krystal. Ready to go?" He then does the prince thing, which is basically asking me to hold his hand. Instead, I rolled my eyes at him.

"Not here, Cade." I said coldly. As I was starting to feel that Dad got was awake, I pushed him out the door. I looked back at Kio and he nodded, as if to tell me that he'll handle Dad.

Caden brought his car so I settled inside with him.
"What the heck, Caden?! Haven't we agreed about not going to each other's house?" Annoyed, I pushed his shoulders lightly.

His once smiling face suddenly turned into a sad one.

"I just want to spend time with you. You're going back to Korea tomorrow, aren't you?" He sounded so melancholic. I feel so guilty.

"The point is, you should've told me. Good thing Dad wakes up late these days." I relaxly lay my back on the passenger seat.

"Yeah, sorry. Speaking of your Dad, why don't we tell him already? So we won't have to hide."

I hesitated but still said, "Not yet the time, Caden. Not yet."

He sighed in defeat. He knows where this conversation will go.

He started the engine and drove off.

All through out the drive, he was quiet. I sighed. How can we be together when we're like this?
