Living Together- A Dramione Love Story Sequel

First Case

Hermione and Draco woke up the next morning to the blaring sound of their alarm clock, Hermione hit the alarm clock and leaned over to Draco she hugged him and put her head on his chest, he kissed her head and got up, he went over to the closet and got out one of his suits, Hermione went into the kitchen and poured her and Draco a cup of coffee and put 2 pieces of toast in the toaster, she then grabbed her Profit and sat down on the couch, Draco then emerged from the bathroom and pecked her on the head, he grabbed his coffee and toast. Hermione gulped down the last of her coffee and went into the bedroom, she emerged in a pair of high waisted silk flowy black pants, with a white long-sleeved blouse tucked in. Draco kissed her forehead and Hermione got a travel thermos and filled it with coffee. She grabbed her purse and Draco's hand and went down to the parking garage. They drove to a lot by the Ministry and apparated they appeared in the green flames of the floo network and headed for the elevators. Draco pressed 2 and Hermione 5. When they arrived on Dracos stop he kissed Hermione and stepped into the Aurors department. When Hermione arrived at her stop she was met by Mason Walker, "Ms. Granger I feel this situation is dire, it is reported that a house-elf can be seen from a neighbors window, he works on the outside of the house, he walks with no shoes in thorns and mud and this even says that the person who filed his complaint saw the owner throw the elf into a patch of thorns," Hermione took a sip of her coffee and took the report from Mason, "Thank you, Mason I will review it and get back to you," Hermione said. Mason nodded and went back to his desk, Hermione entered her office and saw a box on her desk, it was a purple box with a red bow wrapped around it. Hermione set down her thermos and purse, she lifted the lid off the box and was horrified at what she saw, it was the ear of a house-elf with a note attached:

I will not let a Mudblood make decisions on how we treat our property!

Hermione dropped the lid on her desk and ran over to her phone she dialed the number that William James had given her, "How can I help you, Ms. Granger?" William answered. "Can you come up to my office please it's urgent," Hermione replied, "Of course ma'am," William hung up the receiver and Hermione did soon after. Hermione sat in her chair for about 5 minutes before she heard a knock at the door, "Come in," Hermione said. William opened the door and looked at her, "What happened Ms. Granger?" he asked. Hermione gestured to the box and William went up to it, as soon as he looked in it and read the note he gasped, "What do we do?" Hermione asked, "Well we would usually call the Aurors office and they would investigate, try to find out who sent you this," Hermione nodded, "Can I use your phone please?" William asked. Hermione nodded at got out of her chair. William sat down and picked up the receiver, he dialed a number and said, "Can I please have 2 Aurors in Ms. Hermione Grangers office on the fifth floor?" Hermione heard some muttering on the other end and William nodded and hung up the receiver, "I need to go down there and escort them I will be back soon," Hermione nodded and William left the room. Hermione started to pace her office and prayed that the Aurors weren't Draco and Harry, there were thousands of Aurors it is not gonna happen, Hermione thought. Then William came back in her office and held the door open for 2 boys one with white hair and the other black, "Mione?" Harry and Draco said at the same time. Draco went over to her and placed an arm around her shoulders, "Are you okay what happened?" Draco asked her. "Yes I'm fine I walked into my office and found this," Hermione said Harry and Draco went over to the box and looked inside, they were both astonished, "Okay what do we do Mr. James?" Harry asked. "Easy find who did this and bring them in," William said. Draco and Harry nodded. Draco went over and kissed Hermione on the forehead they then both left the room, "Do you know them?" William asked Hermione. She chuckled, "Yeah the boy with white hair is my boyfriend and the other is my brother," Hermione said. William chuckled and left her office, she then looked at the paper that Mason had given her, Hermione looked it over and decided this person needed a home visit, she decided she would take 2 people with her, 1 of them should probably be Mason since it was his case, she left her office and went out to the place that her team worked and she saw Harry and Draco out there talking to her team, "Hey guys so you probably heard about what happened this morning and all I want is for us to continue with our work and please cooperate fully with the Aurors department, now I got a case that I feel we need to investigate, I know this is our first one so I kinda just want to let you know how this is gonna go, I will pick 2 people to go with me, 1 of them being whoever's case it was originally, so that would be Mason, and I saw that he made a note that he shared this case with Molly so that is who I will be taking if you have any questions please leave them in my office we will be leaving in 5 minutes, so yeah," Hermione said as she retreated to her office and Draco followed her, he followed her into her office and closed the door behind him, "Are you sure you should be going out?" Draco asked. Hermione smiled as she grabbed the report, "Draco baby, my life can't stop because one person is upset," Draco sighed and pulled her into a hug, "I worry about you I don't think I could live without you," Hermione smiled. "I love you too," Draco then left her office and saw that Harry was waiting outside. She smiled and waved at him, she then went back out into the workspace and saw that Mason and Molly were already standing side by side talking. Hermione linked arms with Molly and apparated them to the front door of the house and saw a house-elf outside with thorns impaled into his whole body.
