Hermione crouched down so she was at eye level with the elf, "Hello what is your name?" she asked. The elf swallowed hard and replied, "Rosey, who are you?" Hermione smiled "My name is Hermione Granger I am from the house-elf rights department at the Ministry of Magic, who put these thorns in you?" The elf looked at the house across from his, "The woman in there she cast a curse on me," Hermione looked confused, "Why would she do that, what curse?" the elf looked at the house once more, "She wanted to get you here you need to leave," the house-elf then screamed in pain as she grew more thorns, Hermione looked at Mason and Molly. She signaled to Mason to go knock on the door across the street. Mason did so and out of a window above the house a woman appeared, "AVADA KADAVRA!" she screamed, a jet of green light came out of the window. Molly grabbed Hermione's shoulders and pulled her back the jet hit the house-elf and she went limp. The woman cackled from the window and went to another one, killing curse after killing curse was fired at them, Molly and Hermione lied behind some bushes in the house across from the woman, Mason as still at the door. Hermione grabbed her wand and fired at the woman, "PETRIFICUS TOTALIS!" As soon as she fired she crouched back down by Molly. Mason then entered the house, "NO!" Hermione yelled. She got up and bolted to the door that Mason left wide open, the woman then retreated into her house and went to where Hermione and Mason were, they were hiding behind rock pillars, the woman fired a curse at the one Hermione was hiding behind and dirt covered her face, Hermione went around the other side of the pillar and yelled "PETRIFICUS TOTALIS!" the spell hit the woman and she froze and hit the ground, "MOLLY!" Mason yelled Molly ran inside the house as Hermione looked at who attacked them. As Hermione was trying to figure out why she looked so familiar the woman opened her eyes, she ran backward and grabbed Mason and Molly's arms they then appeared back in the ministry right where they left, Hermione collapsed on her knees and they all looked up at them, one of them picked up their phone and called William, a few minutes later William, Draco, and Harry all came up behind Hermione, "What the hell happened?" Draco asked Mason and Molly. "We got to the house and the elf had thorns all over its body," Molly said. "Ms. Granger talked to it and it told us to leave that we were being set up," Mason followed up with, "Then someone fired the killing curse at Hermione and I pushed her out of the way but it hit the house-elf, Ms. Granger and I ducked behind some bushes and Mason was at the door of the house the woman was in," They then went on to tell exactly what happened. Draco pulled Hermione up and escorted her to her office followed by Harry and William. "Are you okay?" Draco asked Hermione as he sat her down in one of the chairs in front of her desk, Hermione was in deep thought and she was tuning everyone out, she then realized something, she stood up and went over to that day's Profit, she pointed to the picture on the front page, the headline was about how that witch had been missing for weeks now, "That's who it was, that's who attacked us, she was under the Imperious curse," Hermione said. Draco went over to the paper, "Well we don't know if the curse broke when you cursed her so Harry and I will go there to see if she is still there," Hermione nodded and Draco and Harry apparated away. Hermione then walked back over to her desk and sat in her chair to take in what she just saw.
