"Goooo Ganda!!" Napabalik ako sa wisyo sa malakas sa sigaw ni Xander mula sa itaas.
I look at the Captain who's still smirking at me, waiting for me to make a move. I absolutely and clearly know what does he want. And know he has the guts to smirk at me because he knows I'll lose. I rolled my eyes at the back of my head.
Dahan-Dahan kong ibinaba ang bola sa pagitan ng hita ko. I removed my bag and put it aside. I look at the Captain and see him eyeing me, watching my every move. Nginisihan ko siya at nakuha naman niya ang balak ko kaya sumeryoso ang kanyang mukha. I tie my hair in a messy bun, still looking directly at him.
Inayos ko ang uniform ko at hinubad ang jacket ko, niluwagan ko pa ang neck tie ko para hindi ako masyadong masikipan. Nakapalda ako pero hindi iyon magiging sagabal sa pakikipaglaro ko. Thank goodness I know how to play basketball. Akala siguro niya ay maiisahan niya ko. He may be good even though I did not see him play yet but the fact that he's the Captain...it was evident.
"...Let's get this done, Captain" I smirked at him.
May kakaibang kislap sa mga mata niya na hindi ko mabasa habang nakatingin sa akin pero isinawalang-bahala ko lamang iyon. I enter the court and start dribbling the ball. I heard the boy's scream...cheering for me instead of their Captain. Napaismid ako dahil doon.
Agad naman siyang lumapit sa harap ko at nag-squat. His eyes were so cold and expressive so I do the same. Nasa gitna na kami ng court at para kaming magpapatayan sa binibitawan naming tingin sa isa't isa.
"...you do know you're just wasting your time for this" malamig niyang saad.

"hhmm...Let's see" tanging sagot ko at nilagpasan na siya.
I was running so hard while dribbling the ball, making sure not to make any violation. I was about to shoot it when it was stolen from my hand making me flinch a little. I gaze at him and he just sneers at me.
"damn!" I cursed and ran after him. He's expertly dribbling the ball and shoot for 3 points. I bit my lip in annoyance. yeah...he's good.
He turned to me and spread his arms like he's mocking me. Inirapan ko siya.
