"Why Frances, Did you forget my task and you're not able to finish it on time?"
Napayuko ako sa istriktong boses ni Miss. I did not forget about the project and I am able to finish it on time if only it is for an individual. The task Miss Sanchez has given is to make a plates of your own modern house. I already have a lot of ideas pero sa kasamaang palad ay si Marina ang naging partner ko.
It's not that I don't like her design but It's too simple, nothing exciting at all. And she's not asking for my opinion or what do I like. And now, naiines ako sa babaeng iyon dahil ngayon sana namin ipagpapatuloy yung plates pero hindi siya pumasok. How the hell am I gonna even finish this alone kung design niya ang nasunod!? She did not even dare to call me.
"I'm gonna pass it, tomorrow Miss" pasuko kong saad.
I don't have much time for the project. Kailangan ko nang magsimula. Nag-stay muna ako sa library para makapag focus. I need to cut classes just for this, hihingin ko nalang ang notes ni Scar para sa mga na-missed kong subject.
"Focus, Frances. Focus" I chant to myself and start working.
It's class hour kaya wala masyadong estudyante sa library. I chose my favorite spot kung saan kita ang view sa labas ng school. Nature really helps me to clear my mind and focus.
Marina is not here so it was all my decision now, wala na kong paki kung magalit man siya e wala naman siyang ambag na. I slightly changed her ideas through mine. And when my plan starts to come together, I finally able to start drafting.
Hours had passed. I skipped lunch, hindi ako pwedeng tumigil dahil ipapasa na ito bukas. Matatapos na rin naman ako. I still have to draft a few more interiors.
"Argh..." I yawned. I can feel my stomach grumbling, asking for food. Ilang beses na rin akong humikab, I am really sleepy.
I shook my head to stay awake. Oh, Fuck! tinatamad na ko. I'm tired too.
I yawned again, idinantay ko ang ulo ko sa lamesa at sandaling ipinikit ang mata. Nag-iinit na rin ang pang-upo ko dahil ilang oras na kong hindi tumatayo. And my finger was tired. Oh, my poor beautiful fingers.
