"Hindi kita maintindihan dude, Ito yung pinakaunang restaurant na itinayo mo pero hindi mo pa rin binubuksan hanggang ngayon." Tanong ng kaibigan ko.
Nilingon ko ang restaurant na pagmamay-ari ko.
Everything has been settled for a long time already, from the tables, chairs, kitchen, and decors. All I have to do is to open this up...but I can't.
"Just shut up and find her..." malamig kong saad sa kanya.
"Hey! Mas matanda pa rin ako sa'yo ng limang taon. Don't boss me around!" My eyes shifted to Zion and shook my head.
"Spill the tea..." I said.
I heard him sigh and pulled a chair beside me.
"I got nothing," he let out a hard breath. "It's been 16 years though, maybe it's time to let this go."
"No," I firmly said and stood up. "Call me if you got something."
I went out of the restaurant and walked towards my car. Bago pa man ako nakapasok ay tumunog ang telepono ko.
"Mom?"
"Hijo! I miss you so much, I'm still mad at you for not calling me but I miss you..." My mom exclaimed on the other line.
"Sorry ma, I've been busy these past few days. Why did you call?"
Pumasok na ko sa sasakyan ko at pinatunog iyon habang hawak pa rin ang telepono sa isang kamay.
"Well...I'm just gonna ask why you still haven't accept the project from IMG?"
I sighed. Modeling again is all my mother talks about. I get it, she wanted me to be a model but it isn't really my thing.
