Do you realize that if you are discovered, before coming forward with your lie, your punishment would be to loose your wings. You would be nothing more than a tiny human being."
She said it that way to Isis as she was lying about the creatures. Perhaps it would sting her and she would rethink what she had done and come forward, explaining that she must have been mistaken, but by the look in her, Alessa doubted that would be true.
