Still My Fault

Chapter 20

 Anja's Point Of View

 "Girls, tingnan niyo ang bagong phone ko." Napatingin kami kay Quinn na ipinagmamayabang ang kaniyang bagong cellphone. Kanina niya pa 'yon ipinapakita sa amin. We're really not that interested. Kung may bago siyang phone, hindi niya dapat 'yon ipagyabang.

  "It looks great." Tipid na sagot ni Lucas.

    Lucas became part of our group. Siya lang ang lalaki but it doesn't mean that he's gay. Talagang hindi lang siya mahilig makihalubilo sa mga kaklase namin. Tinanong na namin siya noon kung bakit kami ang gusto niyang kaibiganin tapos ang sabi naman niya ay dahil maliit lang daw ang group of friends namin. I think he prefer lesser people in a group like me.

     Noong una hindi ako pumayag. It's intimidating to think that there's a boy in a circle of friends with  three girls. Dahil mga malalandi ang mga kaibigan ko, pinilit nila ako. Lucas is good-looking enough and he's also cute. That's why my friends like him to befriend with.

    It seems that Lucas is a nice and wealthy guy. He's not into troubles. I can see a younger version of Ethan on him but with a more soft and silent personality. 

   Ethan can be loud sometimes. He's slightly bubbly. I can compare Lucas to Wilson more than Ethan.

    It's been three months nang makilala ko ang tatlong ito. Sila ang dahilan kung bakit lalong naging interesado ang college life ko. Siyempre nakakamiss din ang mga kaklase ko noong highschool. They made my life one of the best. It's actually true that highschool is the most memorable one.

   "Reese, Anja, kanina pa kayo kain ng kain. Would you mind looking at my new phone?" May awtoridad na sabi nito.

     May pagka-bossy din 'tong si Quinn. She's a silent nerdy looking-girl with a slightly bossy type personality. Her new phone is not interesting though. I would be surprise if she would have a boyfriend or a new boy to flirt with.

   Reese likes Vlad. Lagi na lang niya tinatanong ang mga accounts ni Vlad. Ang hirap kasi ng username nito ni Vlad tapos pabago-bago pa kada week. Hindi rin magtatagal 'yang si Reese kay Vlad. Pareho silang pikunin at pala-asar.

   I can't blame Reese for being am account bragger. Vlad always post sumptuous beaches and resorts kung saan kami dinadala ni Tita Wilma almost every week. Tapos ibabalandra niya ang hubad niyang katawan sa instagram o kaya naman ay facebook. Knowing Reese, she likes beaches and resorts. 

   Vlad has a nice built body. Unlike Ethan, he has four abs and his muscles covered with nerves. He's also good-looking.

   "Your new phone is interesting, duh." Reese rolled her eyes. "Anja's housemate is more interesting." She smiled intensely. Si Vlad ba?

   What's with Vlad? Kapag naman tinatanong ko siya kung anong meron kay Vlad ang sasabihin niya ay iba daw talaga ang charisma ni Vlad. Mukha nga raw goodboy lang si Ethan, eh. Yep, he's too good for me. He's too deserving for me. Siguro, we all have different perspectives on different people. We all have unique minds.

   "Psh, just like you," Mataray na sabi ni Quinn. She then rolled her eyes. "Kaya hindi ka nagugustuhan ng roommate ni Anja."

   Roommate? Wait, what the actual fuck. He's just my housemate.

    "Quinn, he's not my roommate. We just both live on Ethan's house because that's what Tita Wilma wants," I said while rolling my eyes.

   "Girls, stop. You're all interesting and likeable. You are all unique. Quinn, you're phone is really interesting."

    Here is Lucas again as our mediator. Siya palagi ang tagapagpatigil ng sagutan o awayan sa amin. Siguro kung wala siya sa tatlong buwan naming pagkakaibigan hindi na kami magtatagal nitong tatlo.
